A little backstory on me and basil pesto....
Many years ago when I was stationed in Germany, I lived in this small town called Binsfeld. There was this quaint little restaurant that I stumbled across and I saw on the menu that they had something called Pesto Pasta. I had never heard of it and it seemed interesting, so I ordered it. The moment I took my first bite, I was in love! I think I went on to eat at that same restaurant probably 50 times in my 3 years in Germany. And every time I ordered the same thing.
Eventually I learned that they sell pesto in the jar, so it became one of my go to dinners as a busy service member. To this day, I still love the taste, as well as how easy it is to make.
So hopefully there are some fellow pesto lovers here :)

Finally tried one of your recipes (and actually followed it to a T...) and it was so good! I wasn't sure I'd like it cause I've never had pesto before but it was so good. Will definitely make again and I'll probably add tomatoes and onions when its harvest time. Can't wait to try more recipes!

2023-04-23 19:49:41 +0000 UTCJust made this and it tastes great! I love these recipes bc you can tweak it to your liking or macros. I reduced the amount of pesto bc the brand I bought had more calories for the same serving of the brand listed and I added cherry tomatoes and mushrooms. ๐ค
