Steak-Umm Cheesesteak Bowl

It's finally here! The cheesesteak bowl that everybody has been waiting for!

One thing to note. I named this the "Steak-Umm" Cheesesteak Bowl because I opted to use the frozen Steak-Umm brand steaks for this. I do understand that some individuals may not have access to this brand. And because of this, I will be circling back around to do a ground beef version of this in the future. But I'm not sure if I should do it over rice or make it into a pasta?

Let me know in in the comments if you'd like to see a pasta version of this? Maybe with a cheesy sauce since the cheesesteaks in Philly oftentimes use cheese whiz. What do you all think?

For the time being, if you can't find the frozen steaks, fresh steak (very thinly sliced) will work. I have also seen some Walmarts that carry their own brand of these frozen steaks. I would imagine they taste similar.

But I'm really hopeful that pretty much everybody can find these. As you'll see in the video, there's not a whole lot of seasoning involved, or needed.

How about a different cut of beef rather than ground? Rice or potatoes. There's a lot of pasta dishes...

Finally made this tonight and I did a chicken Philly bowl. So good!

Aldi sells shaved steak. I never heard of steakums

Our grocery store doesn't carry steak-umm. Any other suggestions?

I added A1, and another user suggested a package of au jus gravy

This wasn’t a favorite for me. Felt like it was missing something. But, I did try it! And ate it for lunch. My husband did enjoy it!

We left the mushrooms out. Still delicious. We made the leftovers into quesadillas with some pepperoncini pepperS and it is SO GOOD.

Amazing and I made a large batch
