Weekly Update Post 10/11/25

Hi once again everyone and welcome to the weekly update post for this week. This week I've been busy getting back to working on the game and have quite a lot of progress to report back on, so I'm just going to jump straight into things.

Two Patches

This week I've been working on a bunch of different stuff which I think I'm going to put into two separate patches. As you might remember from last week, I was working on Doll's scene to go at the end of her quest and since then I've both finished that scene and started working on some others. The first concerns you guys as members of the Patreon as it is Patrina's quest and scene. Since Patrina is patreon exclusive, I don't want to make her questline too big, so whilst it expands on her story and gives you a deeper look into her personality, it's not as big as some of the other companion quests. There is however a scene at the end of it which is going to be released as this months patreon scene so look forward to that.

As well as that, I'm glad to announce that an expansion on the Adventure Guild Quests is in the works right now, having already completed 5 new quests related to the guild, alongside a debut scene for the Guildmaster Vaela, as well as starting to work on a scene for Ellin the receptionist at the end of a quest players can unlock by playing through the adventurer's guild quests. You'll be able to see a small preview of the models I've made for the two characters above. I've been using new shaders for the newer models when possible, so let me know what your thoughts on their designs are. This content will be released in the second patch that I alluded to earlier. As I've said previously, I'm conscious of not making these patches too big to avoid buggy messes like with the release of 0.1.3. I'll also release the reworked scene as part of this second patch which, as of now according to voting, will be bat's first scene.

Other

Whilst last week I said I'd start working on a guide for the game, I haven't really made any progress on that yet as I'm still deciding what kind of content to include in it so please let me know anywhere you can what kind of content you'd like to see in a guide for the game. Additionally, from next patch onwards, I'm going to keep the Patreon page banner the same for the most part, as it seems to be more effort than it's worth to change it each patch which is time I could spend better doing something else. I'll probably make it something featuring Patrina as she's a constant for these patches but I'll see closer to release.

Also I mentioned about making new Patreon tiers or anyone who wanted to support the game even more than they already have (which I am very grateful for already). I think for an extra reward, I might add some people from that tier as npcs in the Patreon Lounge and potentially a little plaque in the player's mansion. I know it's not much but I don't want people to feel like they're missing out on content by not paying more. I'll probably plan to release this new tier alongside next patch and as for pricing will have it at around $20 I guess.

Personal

My heart rate is a bit fast at the moment which might mean I have to make some small changes in adhd medication. This might mean a small break for a week or so to get it sorted etc but this shouldn't be until after at least the next patch comes out so don't worry about that. As for sport, MLB coming to a close means I've been spending some of these late nights watching NFL instead. Whilst I don't really support a team since I'm a casual fan, I always like watching the Bills since Josh Allen is always entertaining to watch whenever I tune in. That being said, from what I saw last night he was kind of stinking it up against a lackluster dolphins side, so oh well. As for regular football, I really wasn't surprised by the city Liverpool result and honestly thought city would have won by more. I think the disallowed goal for liverpool was bullshit, as well as the penalty (see Arsenal vs Newcastle a few weeks ago for comparison) but it really wouldnt have made a different anyway. As for Arsenal, I'm honestly not too upset with a point away vs Sunderland. It's one of the furthest fixtures for us, they're on fire as a team right now and whilst the last minute goal hurt, I can see us losing that fixture so it's not the end of the world. As for music, I listened to Racing Mount Pleasant's self titled album and enjoying it quite a bit. Sounds similar to Black Country New Road but a bit more shoegazey (I think I'm never sure how to define that genre). In particular I like the song Racing Mount Pleasant (confusing I know) which I suppose would be written: Racing Mount Pleasant - Racing Mount Pleasant - Racing Mount Pleasant.
