River's story is not yet fully told. How everything fits together has not fully taken shape just yet. Call back time...... Series 4 two parter when River is first introduced. The Doctor says to River that he points and laughs at archaeologists when she shares her profession with him. Cut to, The Doctor leaving at the end of this episode. He goes into his TARDIS then pops back out to point at River and have a little chuckle to himself. I love the little details. π Oddly, he points and smiles at baby Melody earlier in the episode as well. But before he 'knows'. They are probably both 'looking for meaning' coincidences. More so the second one I should think.
