This month has been chibi madness, and I loved every second of it. I ran a quick little campaign on social media asking people to share their OCs, and I picked a few favorites to surprise them with something fun. There’s just one left to go, but most of them are already done!
I’ve been having a blast drawing these tiny, expressive characters. There’s something so satisfying about the shapes and proportions, I really want to keep exploring them more, I hope you guys like them as much as I do. 💖
One of the chibi commissions this month also turned into a learning opportunity: I decided to revisit 3D tools to help with objects in perspective, and it ended up being super helpful. Even in the past, every time I used 3D it was incredibly useful, I just never made it a regular part of my process. But now I’m thinking that if I keep things simple and slowly build the habit over time, it might finally stick!
On a spicier note... a lot of commissions this month were very butt-centric. 😂 I’m not complaining, they were really fun to work on ~
As for traditional art: I did manage to get a few sketchbook pages down, though not as consistently as I’d like. Hopefully June will be better in that department, I really want to strengthen that habit...
