When it fell it led a dissolution of good paying jobs, towns, cities and of families/communities as the 1st generation of ppl had to consider leaving the city/state where they grew up in to find work and escape the sad decline. It changed a lot. Tech brought prosperity to some but the effects are still felt and deepened after the Covid & economic inflation sky rocketed costs from food to homes.
