2024-10-17 02:28:10 +0000 UTCLike a lot of Rock "snobs" back when this was released (and Rumours before it) I tended to turn my nose up at Fleetwood Mac as "corporate rock sellouts". But later in life, I went back and started listening to these albums more carefully and was blown away by just how talented they were. I think one of the things that originally worked against them was that their recordings are so meticulously produced that they can come across as "too slick". But I'm glad I went back and gave them another chance - they truly were outstanding. (BTW - if you haven't caught "Daisy Jones and the Six" yet definitely check it out - it's basically a thinly disguised documentary of the recording of Rumours).
