Pixies were heavily influenced by R.E.M. Here comes your man was inspired by Carnival of Sorts(boxcars), off R.E.M.'s Chronic Town EP. IMO early R.E.M is supreme, they do have a lot of later music that is pretty amazing as well. Just one of my favorite influential bands. If you guys are interested in checking out another band that was highly influential, you need to hear Gang Of Four, specifically anything off of Entertainment, inwould suggest Damaged Goods. Fantastic angular guitars, really influential to alternative rock bands.❤
