Really loved this video; and most of your observations and hunches were spot on. A few notes to add to your reaction: 1) To fully appreciate the album, you should listen again with the lyrics in front of you; they are amazing. 2) The reason the vocals varied is that three of them sing. Rhythm guitarist Joe Strummer is the dynamic lead vocalist with the growling, howling voice; lead guitarist Mick Jones, has the smoother, more melodic voice, and bassist Paul Simonon was the super low voice singing "Guns of Brixton". 2) When the album was originally released, the last song "Train In Vain" was not listed on the cover or record; it was a "hidden" song. Yet it's so good, it became the biggest single off the album anyway. 3) The cover design is an homage to an Elvis Presley release. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elvis_Presley_(album)
