I found this film so disturbing the first time I saw it that it's taken me over 30 years to see it with you two again! Such an amazing movie back then and now. Thanks for sharing!

2025-08-25 01:37:37 +0000 UTCI think that the final scene with the girl was all in his mind. That was him resolving his fantasies. I'm not even sure that the hero outcome or the letter from the relatives was real either, I suspect that was his final interpretation and resolution of what happened.
