I can thank my mother for the fact that I have extremely diverse musical taste the Beatles, Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix, Carole King, Buddy Holly, Steppenwolf, CCR ZZ Top, , Motown Decca …you name it she had it. I knew how to put a record on from the time I could walk. It makes me feel very bad for the following generations that you didn’t get to have this experience of dragging out your parents albums, or your brothers albums, and putting it on the record player. Just grabbing “pet sounds” from the stack.
