Beforel Orel video back up now!

Hey guys,

Quick update. The Beforel Orel video is back up live and the copyright claim has been released!

I cannot express how big a weight this is off my shoulders. The Copyright Claim process is stressful as all hell. But let me try:

You basically have 2 options.

1. Allow the video to be removed or at the very least demonitized. or,

2. Fight it, potentially losing all ad revenue for months, channel termination, and even lawsuit.

To fight, You first have to send a dispute which is handled automatically and almost always results in a rejection. After that you can appeal the rejection, however, if that is also rejected it results in copyright strike, which basically means the loss of all ad revenue for 3 months. After that, you can send a counter notification, but that's basically calling the company's bluff that they won't sue you. And and that is the part that can result in channel termination.

Now I knew that my video should have been covered under fair use, but these things are fickle. All the copyright holder has to do is disagree. And when I sent the dispute and later the appeal to their rejection of said dispute, they did.

I knew lawsuit was very unlikely, but the other two possibilities? Not so much.

Every email I've received over the last few days spiked my blood pressure and anxiety. I tried recording the 15k video the other night but completely flubbed it because I just couldn't concentrate.

But at the same time, I didn't want to give in when I felt I had done nothing wrong. So, I waited.

It was supposed to take 10 days to get a response, but apparently it's been released! This is amazing news! I am so FUCKING relieved. I literally squealed so loud it really concerned my dogs.

Anyway, hopefully now we can get back to The channel running smoothly as normal. Fingers crossed I don't hear any more crap about this.
