2025-05-18 18:41:17 +0000 UTCHahaha idek it was just in my head :D for sure, it definitely leaned Nintendo. Nintendogs was just such wholesome fun! And pretty pleasant soundtrack as well. I sure do miss those simple sorts of games!

2025-05-18 18:39:57 +0000 UTCI don't know why there was a SpongeBob quote literally in the first 5 seconds either but it had me feeling a type of way like Patrick when he did the 'im squidward' dance from the Opposite Day episode in 144p. I like how the OG video was structured from the 80s to 2018 and not just in a selected least-to-most kinda order tho - did make it feel slightly less subjective imo. Nintendo is the king of this topic for sure, although some more games from the PS2 era could have been listed here maybe but I rate these picks generally. My top 5 favourites from this list. 5. Vampire Killer 4. Dearly Beloved 3. Brawl Theme 2. Dire Dire Docks 1. BFG Division (top 25 personal songs oat for me geniunely - even though it isn't rlly dubstep hahah 😅 although some of the best songs outright from said umbrella genre has very similar energy so I get you, but this is more industrial/djent metal!) Sick react. Much love to the definitive VGM icons. And I also low-key had a thing for Nintendogs on 3DS. Such a guilty pleasure type game for me. Rip my 3DS camera roll and virtual dogs from 2012 lmao.
