Of course, Q-anon and its predecessor, Pizzagate are a modern iteration of the same, old antisemitic tropes. "Adrenochrome" instead of "blood" and the "deep state" instead of the Illuminati.

2025-01-21 20:05:49 +0000 UTCIt is insane how fast israelis and americans and germans perpetuate these tropes while also being able to perfectly articulate why it is wrong to use these tropes against jewish people. they recognize why it’s so bad and yet they say these exact things about arabs, muslims, palestinians etc with no problem. if anything i think that makes it all the more disgusting. they are perfectly capable of understanding the harm these tropes can cause and they use them anyways. it just lays the intentions these people have bare all the more.

I noticed (in UK) around Christmas, RW politicians start threatening us that we won't be able to say "Merry Christmas" anymore, with clear implications that ((they)) might stop us celebrating because they "don't share our values". At first I thought that was plain bonkers, but it appeared as a trope in "The International Jew" nearly 100 years ago. It's just repurposed antisemitism - against Muslims, other minorities, Jewish people, and anyone on the left of politics.
