2024-12-07 20:47:21 +0000 UTCI heard that a lot of Israelis are leaving the country. I met a woman who renounced Israeli citizenship and lives in UK. Do you think that one of the reasons there's so little dissent in Israel is that many of its citizens have the means to leave (eg have European passports via their parents) have education/qualifications etc so if they oppose Zionism their best option is to emigrate? If Israel is a Zionist project/entity not a traditional nation, maybe people who don't believe in Zionism would have no patriotic reason to stay there and invest in being a dissident. If they don't like Zionism why stay in Israel if they have the choice?

Israeli citizenship and the Zionist colonial project already act as ideological filters, not only ensuring Zionist immigration is fully committed to Israel's genocidal project, but also that citizens already living in Israel, and their descendants, already accept the fascist, ethno-nationalist principles of the Zionist project as normal. Hell, I dunno if Paul Verhoeven took any inspiration from it when he made Starship Troopers, but the model of a perfect fascist society he depicted is nearly 1:1 what Israel is, down to the idea that military service is an integral part of Israeli citizenship, seeing their enemies as vermin, etc. The Federal Network looks just like Israeli Hasbara propaganda.
