I love the little narrative detail when James's perspective on Reeds gender changes. Really puts onto perspective how fast James can change his mind about something.

And second, because while you *could* just email one orb at a time, every one of those emails takes exactly as much magical coffee grounds as is required to run the replicator ritual, and *that* is way more valuable to them.

Finally...why the heck is the email ritual never used? Why doesn't James email himself 100 blue orbs, various weapons, and a bunch of really niche magic items, that he could then pull out whenever he needs them?

2025-12-13 20:12:20 +0000 UTCThis was a great chapter, I’m so happy we got to see the demi plane! Even if the snowball is mysterious lol. And I’m glad the rewards in triplicate work. I was worried that an emphasis on one pulls the reward from the other sections so you end up with a net neutral result, I’m glad that’s not the case.
