2024-02-03 01:21:22 +0000 UTCLate I know but during the filming of Sixteen, the shirts were sold in shops, and online. Also, Dahyun's Eagle Dance became popular in S. Korea while she was in the 6th Grade. It was videotaped while she and other students were doing dances in church. If you play the game Fortnight (I believe this is the game), you will see a character doing the Eagle Dance too. This was how known it was...that a game used it too.

2023-11-28 15:53:42 +0000 UTCI’m planning on doing seize the light first then going to private life after, since it looks like seize the light follows their journey from the beginning so I’ll probably see more from their early days, but private life will be after that! And I can understand what you mean about like Mina and Dahyun completely, I just didn’t think of it at the time because I was assuming that was one of the first things idols are trained to do AND I just tried to evaluate what was right in front of me at the time. Thanks for pointing that out though, it could VERY well be 100% true for those two since they weren’t in for as long as some of the other girls.

2023-11-28 12:01:13 +0000 UTCSome of them hadn't been trainees for long, like Mina or Dahyun, it's understandable if they weren't quite as confortable with singing and dancing at the same time compared to others. The shop lady looked like she was near the old jyp building, so the trainees probably went there all the time and she was being supportive, just my guess. There was a sixteen shirt hanging on the window too lol As much as people talk about sixteen, the game changer, at least for me, was twice private life, they're so funny on that show, it was impossible not to fall in love

I know JYP was trying to push Kpop into the US years ago and had bought a building in LA but then the wonder girls broke up and he either sold or rented the building. They’ve gotten another one now in LA or re-established that one, I don’t remember which.
