Single specimens, however, occasionally happen to sprout in pots if obscured enough by larger plants. A most welcome incident to many people, since the jesterβs cap is said to brighten oneβs mood with amusing moves and refreshing tunes. The two blue dots right underneath its cap are often mistaken for eyes, while they are in fact auditory organs giving this critter excellent hearing ability. If scared by loud noise or put in an excellent mood, the jesterβs cap displays a mesmerizing performance, forcing its audience to enthusiastically join in β either to distract or to enjoy the party.
