I've had a headcanon that Evelyn's mom encouraged her to spend time with Reese as a kid, despite everyone else's misgivings, and I'm happy to see that this isn't such a far-fetched idea after all.

It makes me so sad how father sees J's behavior and how tense they are since their childhood. Being the eldest Corvin certainly puts a lot of pressure on young J as we see how they turn out in the current with how they act when they mention their parents + how A acts. I'm glad father was there to support J and help them with smiling and relaxing, being welcome. I can easily imagine J coming over earlier when MC's dad is there and he just invites J over in and they have nice conversations before MC and maybe Mother come back. I was actually talking about this with Phoebe, Kay, and Alex... but the fact that Father and B Warrick can relate to each other on being 'outsiders' and how TFS Father is taking B under his wing to help them feel more at home, noticing the different things, maybe even discussing the weirdness. I'm so glad that they'd have a wonderful bonding experience because it was something I hoped to see based on the small information about the father we have. I am just so happy Father is so supportive to them, B deserves it. I just think about how safe her father made Zarina feel. He seems like the patient sort and based on what ??? says about him with sadness mask, I think he was the one who would be the mediator when Mom and Zarina clash in their debates. I can see that her father is the one who told her about what she must search in her future sweetheart. The loyalty, the way they look at her like she's the only one, the deep love that will be similar to her mom's and dad's (aka how her father moved everything to Fernweh for mother). I just think that as a smol hc would be cute <3 GRANDFATHER. GRANDPA WE NEED TO PICK UP SOME STICKS AND BONES TOGETHER AHHHHH. Grandfather reminds me of my own grandparents in how unmovable they are in their opinions on people. I knew that Grandpa is going to be viciously against R in any shape or form, but, sorry Grandpa, Zarina has a ReeZ route and u can't say no. She's going to dance with Verner heir int he ballroom and exchange fun quips with them. I can imagine Zarina on ReeZ route if Grandfather was alive just slamming the door behind her when he goes 'NOT WITH VERNER I HOPE!' and she just goes 'YEAH WITH VERNER! STAY OUT OF MY BUSINESS!' because she disliked heavily how her grandfather always acted with R even as kids. She always liked Reese as kids (ReeZ route or not, but she enjoyed his company ALWAYS) and Grandpa's beef with Verners didn't matter to her. It also makes me happy how Grandfather approves of S so much. S has always been the RO that provides such stability and strength to MC, the constant. They are so attentive, patient, and understanding. They show themselves as someone who gives you space but also shows they are always there for you to reach out. I'm happy that Grandfather witnessed S and their consideration. It just continues to show how incredible S is and I'm hugging them very close. YEAH YOU OFFER A BIG ASS APOLOGY TO J, GRANDFATHER. YOU MESSED UP A GODO KID!!! I can't wait to dive more into J and Grandpa relationship because the instances of J's shocked inquiries and possibly deeply seated rooted anger at Grandfather will be a volcano that's soon to awaken. It makes me scream.

I was waiting for this with baited breathe because parents and grandpa insights that can feed into the delicious lore. MOTHER. I love saying this but Zarina really is her mother's daughter. I love to underline that in my writings and in my tumblr ramblings because I'm pretty sure I dived into that in my first screams on tumblr haha. It just makes me so much happier to hear how mother dearest will approve of both R and Mal, which is surprising to me, but also R and Mal both represent a very intense and passionate route that I think unites them and mother seems to be like someone who had similar traits to herself (Which Zarina also got from her hehe <3). It SHOCKS ME that Mal would sit down to speak with mother, she is too powerful. They don't sit with you for Q&As but sit with mother AND look for MC to help them? TFS Mom you are a legend and I can see how she's been friends with Victor and got him to listen to her as well. She truly makes others sit down and hear her out, she will not allow for anything else. I love how outspoken she is, too, because that JR tidbit makes me emotional as well. Her going so far to thrown down with the other moms who have reservations? GOD ZARINA TRULY IS HER MOTHER'S DAUGHTER, THANK YOU TFS MOM. They both are fire and anger, they are the powerhouse, they are the heard and they are the unstoppable force. I love it.

2024-11-22 05:08:06 +0000 UTCMOTHER FATHER GRANDFATHER i'm looking at each answer so so so carefully but I do love how much insight these answers provides even if they are in a "hypothetical" scenario Papa finding kinship in B warms and hurts my soul knowing how the town views others. Also their support of J and wanting to look out for them, because they look out for others more than themselves. Mother encouraging R's bond, knowing how much Verners try in everything they do. BUT MOTHER- finally a worthy opponent that Mal can't win against, lol. Don't think I didn't catch that Mal would only flounder after touching upon a certain wound. Grandfather thinking the best of S is no surprise to me, since it seems like S was the only one in town to really put an effort in keeping contact. Their quiet consideration to everyone, oof. I mourn knowing they won't be able to see everyone's dynamics and how they've changed over the years and will change now that they're all grown up. I'll never get to see Mama and Papa share silent conversations with their eyes as MC finds their place with someone else. And Grandpa standing watch because I know they would for their favorite grandchild. I will be spinning this Q&A in my head for a LONG while, thank you as always!!

You'll be learning about that second-hand in TFS proper too, but be able to /experience/ it in the prequel. The TFS Mom, Lois, Mr. Verner, Rosie, and others will be the main cast at younger ages. Your prequel MC could befriend the mom of your current TFS MC. 👀With how it's outlined, that is the starting point where you can then weaken, deteriorate (destroy), or build on those bonds. As a teaser, I'll say your new MC is already personally familiar with both Lois and TFS Mom. 💐 They know more about Fernweh than your Returning Visitor does, but there are certain burdens and conflicts that come with that knowledge.

Because I kinda get the feeling he didn’t ngl 👀 edit: I am also so curious about why grandpa dislikes the Verner family so much. What’s the history there? And to see how much MC’s parents loves them always makes me so emotional 😢

What you wrote here "Due to her own close friendship with the previous Verner heir, she was always more inclined to see how R was trying in their own unique way. While building that friendship wasn't easy, it's one she treasured." Is it possible the prequel could take place when TFS MC's mother is alive? I mean she would be if what I remember from he previous potentials for the sneak peek at a possible prequel. Oh my god, could we befriend the mother?
