Stonemaw Cave [30x40]

Hidden in the mountain paths. In the depths of the earth. Buried in places forgotten by time. Behold Skullmaw cave. As the road opens up, brave adventurers listen for the sighs of wind rushing down the cliffs. In front of them, the stones jut out in the shape of some dreaded beast. Stalagmites forming razor sharp teeth; waiting to entrap prey. What lays within the stoney maw? A spacious lair...or maze of tunnels leading to something sinister beneath the rocks?

This was fun one to work on! I wanted to build a bit on the "Journey to the Underdark" series with a cool cave entrance. It serves as a nice scene setting encounter zone for a longer quest...or even the entrance to a legendary lair. Some of these variants will also pair well with other previous terrain maps to give you more visual aids or locations to explore. I love being able to connect all the different packs I'm painting to give them extended usage....and to just explore some lore options for world building.
