Its Nelvana's cancelled cartoon version of The Rani from Doctor Who, and Beltorchika Irma in her concept art for Char's Counterattack before being cut.
Kinda funny how I ended up with two concept designs to draw this time, I quite like that. I always find beta designs of things super interesting. Maybe I should ask people to request more of these next time hahaha.
I've never seen actually seen any of the Rani episodes in full (partially 'cause they're kinda bad lol) and I think Beltorchika was OK, but my memory of Zeta Gundam is mostly hazy now outside of a select moments.

2025-03-19 19:57:27 +0000 UTCI would actually like if Rani does show up and she would be a more casual presence, given what her actual role and relation with the Doctor is. Like as an random incidental asshole who only helped advance the actual episode's villain plot but otherwise has no attachments to anyone, including any personal enmity with the Doctor. Its Master's job to be the nemesis, the Rani is more like that one guy you kinda knew from uni and hung out in the same circles that later went to work at Lockheed Martin or in private equity.

"But what if instead of it having been the Master behind it all...it was the Rani? And what if a future incarnation took on Yasmin Khan's likeness to get under the Doctor's skin. And what if that incarnation and this version of the Rani teamed up? And what if it was written like they were a mix of Team Rocket and Dirty Pair? What if, I ask, what if?"

2025-03-19 06:59:31 +0000 UTCthank you! im probably one of the few beltorchika fans out there still lol; i recommend you read the beltorchika's children novel or manga if youve seen CCA, it's really good and hathaway's flash (the novels) was intended as a direct sequel to it
