I have not had a chance to breathe, let alone think, in the past 10 days. If you haven't heard, Jeff Bakalar and I have entered into an agreement to buy Giant Bomb. This is something that came together very fast, and it's prevented me from really figuring out anything. When it comes to the future of Giant Bomb, our plans are to make it employee owned -- that means the current crew. We are still figuring out the details.

But that brings up a lot of questions about Game Mess. I talked to some people and I floated the idea of pausing this Patreon while I figure out what is next. Everyone seemed to think that I should not do that. I'm still unsure. I do know that I plan to keep doing personal projects here, and I'd like to work with people on those. So this will continue in some form.

At the same time, I am giving my permission and blessing to everyone who is supporting me here to shift that money over to giantbomb.com/join.

If you are supporting here to see me work with Jan, Jerf, Mike, and Dan, we're going to focus on that over at Giant Bomb. We really want to make this work as an independent media company, and that only makes sense if you all are on board.

I will also keep doing Decides and Last of the Nintendogs with Mike, but we have to talk about what that looks like.

You all saved me. I'm never going to forget that. So I'm here forever. There's no getting rid of me. Let's get to work.
