I agree on both counts. There are more kinds of weird fiction and weird gaming than cosmic terror, but people would get confused if they expect any kind of 5E to feel like Call of Cthulhu or Delta Green.

2019-10-31 19:57:25 +0000 UTCI get Sandy plugging his new 5eD&D Cthulhu stuff but like he says 50 mins in - it ceases to be Horror, its Action with Horror elements. Alien vs Aliens. Ah, what the hell. If it brings more people to Cthulhu through D&D though then that isn't a bad thing. Especially when you get to introduce them to the Mythos proper and really fuck up their fragile Millennial minds.
