Three years of First Snow!

Unbelievably, it's been three whole years since First Snow was released! That's right, in the middle of summer!!! It was one of our first Bellhouse projects and we are honored with the amount of love that it's received.

As a little bit of a thank you, we have a princess AU for Allison story post (with illustrations) also posting about now by Theo! It's very lovely, so be sure to read it!

Well, what are you waiting for? It's short, it's free, it's got partial voice acting!

Here's a small note from the Twofold director - make sure you read through, because there are some screenshots from TF of our lovely heroine at the end!

“First Snow came out 3 years ago today... I feel like I wanna say "it seems like it was so soon!" and "it seems like it was forever ago!" The game didn't start out with any great ambition: in reality it was only meant to be a test bed for presentation and ideas that we'd then use to make Twofold as good as it can be. The fact that Suriko's writing and story resonated with so many people is a very welcome bonus though, and it's always touching to hear from people who enjoyed it and are looking forward to seeing the characters again because of it.

I've always considered First Snow to be Suriko's project; he was the one who pitched the idea originally, and my heart's always been focused on Twofold. Even still, I've learned a lot from First Snow and I really, truly believe Twofold wouldn't be half the game it's shaping up to be if First Snow wasn't there to pave the path. So thank you to First Snow and thank you to everyone who read and enjoyed it!”

First Snow has a special place in my heart as it was my first encounter with the people of this world, and I helped on the CGs a little! It's so heartwarming to see it's reached so many hearts and I hope you feel the same with Twofold too!
