This month I will be getting rid of my $5 social media patreon reward and replacing it with a $1 Jonathan Young Groupchat for all Patrons. All you'll need to do is get an account at https://discordapp.com/, then follow the link I will post to the Jonathan Young chatroom.
Whenever I'm at my computer, I will have the chatroom open so I can talk to you guys in real time about anything you want, and tell you what I'm working on or answer questions!
To me, this reward is way cooler than my current $5 reward because even if I follow you on Twitter or add you on Facebook, I rarely stay on those sites for very long so it's hard for me to stay in touch with messages.
Additionally, as my fanbase continually grows, I'm being forced to face the harsh reality that stalkers and bad people exist out there, so all it would take would be for a creepy person to donate $5, get the facebook add reward, then do 5 minutes of snooping around to find out where my family lives and other sensitive stuff like that. It's important that I stay smart and safe (as much as I wish I could be facebook friends with everybody <3)
I'll also be taking steps to upgrade the "access to instrumental / karaoke tracks" reward tier so that all of those tracks are readily available for the people who want them.
Life has been crazy and I have some super secret news to hopefully share with you soon, but I'm still playing catch-up and making sure I stay on schedule!!
