R16 work-in-progress: Leather, Concrete, Procedural Textures

Hey!
This is not the final R16 update, I'm not satisfied with it yet and I'll add a few more things.
But you download the current Textures and the Map (download is at the bottom).

I hope you are doing well, I guess most of you are in isolation by now. I encourage you to cancel your Patreon pledge, please remember I do not want to "sell" a product here . Just as with Sonic Ether's Patreon page: If you really just want to have access, feel free to cancel before the end of the month.

What's this update about?
Obviously now it's difficult for me to travel and shoot Textures and since this will not change anytime soon I finally decided to get into procedural Texturing. (Blender and Substance Designer, for example ) This is a big change in my workflow and the last month I spent learning it. How I usually create Textures:   Taking photos, painting, sculpting, 3D Modelling,.... (the oldschool way). Creating procedural Textures is more like "coding" without any external Images, etc.  This "newer" workflow is definitely faster/easier and depending on the material, gives better results, however, Textures tend to be not very unique and often look a bit cartoonish/stylized. Also, getting the Textures to work in PTGI is a bit difficult since you can't just convert it easily. You always need to do manual tweaking... But: never blame the tool -  I will try my best to integrate it into my usual workflow.

Here is a scene where I tested doors that are 2.5 blocks tall (used as birch_door  + you need to place a quartz_slab above it).    The spiral stairs are just a test and used for quartz_stairs. (set geom. trace quality to 1 and use 2x quartz_slabs to fix glitches where you can see through walls)
Map download is at the Bottom.

Leatherblocks:   (used as black_wool)  100% procedural, no photos used.

Red Concrete. Also procedural. One of the best things about the procedural workflow is that I can generate infinite variations of the same material. To reduce Texture repetition I used 4 ctm random Texture variations.  (The smooth version without the vertical lines as seen in the images at the Top is used for Red_Terracotta)  Make sure Connected Textures are set to "Fancy"!

Orange Tiles ( = orange_glazed_terracotta)
Designed for these type of interior scenes only. I came up with a way how to control the indirect lighting of any block. (e.g: I could make the indirect lighting of a red block green)
Without the custom indirect lighting, this scene would look desaturated and boring.

Another test Texture I created while playing around with Substance Designer.
Used for gray_glazed _terracotta.   Another test texture:  brown_glazed_terracotta

Most likely I will not include the testing stuff, let me know what you think.

Each "R" release should be something special so I'll add a few more things, build a better map and then release it with a new YouTube video!

Hope you like it!
Stay safe!

MAP:     click here

Textures:       512x:      1024x       2048x         (The number is the resolution)

How to install:  Just overlay on top of R15 or R14 for example.  Or both, depending on what blocks you need and how much your PC can handle. Requires PTGI E11. (I don't like E12)

The blocks in-game are mentioned above or just check out the Map.

that texture pack is only support java edition

and also .mcpack files becus idk how else to install @_@

does this texture pack support bedrock?

?? 저 5000원짜리사고 2000원짜리샀는대 5000원짜리가 안들어가집니다 어떻게된거죠?

oh! I didn't know that.

imagine SPINNING STAIRS in MINECRAFT

gorgeous lovely work!

I like it so much

VS they introduced the preview 10 and it can run shaders nown I've tested that today

shaders aren't supported by Optifine previews so most of the textures won't load properly

Hi, I would like to know if it's compatible with Optifine preview for Minecraft 1.15.2

Yes, depending on what blocks you need and how much your PC can handle. For the map from this update you only need R15 + R16.
