Important changes for 2020 +Redstone/Industrial Textures/Models

Hey!
Sorry for the delay.      Had to finish my courses for this semester - I have holidays in a few days.

You guys seemed to like the Redstone-cable update and I created a few more highly detailed blockmodels. I couldn't finish them today - but I really wanted to post something before february starts. You can still download a work-in-progress version below.   I will release the finished versions in a few days + a new video etc.

But first, let's talk about some important changes for 2020:

My content and audience (and what you guys are using my content for) has changed over time, especially with the last video (Redstone Cables).  When I started my channel, I uploaded videos (Tech Demos) about the Seus PTGI Shader, and the textures were only something optional for my supporters.  Obviously, now the textures are the main-thing. Originally my goal was to create a few test textures designed for Seus PTGI and as soon as the shader is released, I would also release them publicly. But I assume the shader is not going public anytime soon.

The changes:

So, what did I create this time?

Really  detailed models with fake-geometry, again (There are no curves in minecraft resourcepack models, of course)    So I need to fake all this by using the 2D planes with textures on them.
Redstone Torch:  Industrial look, but you can still recognize it as a redstone torch, I guess.
The base is work-in-progress (not visible on the screenshots here)
Not sure how I can make the cables connect in a way that doesn't look totally weird.

Spinning, animated "box fan":    I used it for "jungle trapdoors". The blades are animated and spin at ~ 20fps (smoother is not possible, sadly)  Looks really cool when they cast animated shadows.      Finally something is moving in our scenes. I hope this will turn out good in the video.  You can also place them on a wall/open them. A lot of possibilities. I used a few tricks to save a lot of file size (each frame of the animation is a seperate 1024x1024 texture.... but it runs really well even on my potato computer - at least for screenshot purposes, haha)

IMPORTANT:    For the spinning fans to work properly you need to set Geometry Trace Quality to "1" in your shader > raytracing settings.      NOT TO 2!!!

Ladders:       A very neutral, clean look.  The geometry looks really simple, but with minecraft's limitations that's only possible with a few tricks, again.

Levers:       People requested "light switches" but I think levers need to be "heavy" - Something you could use both hands for. When placed correctly, they connect to the cables and they also show small white "glowing" parts when turned on.

Ventilation / air-ducts:      Work-in-progress, but feel free to play around with them. I used the block "End Stone Brick Wall" for it - I need to because only walls have these connection features.   I will add more variation (tin foil-isolated parts, vents, holes, etc)
Tipp: Also goes really well with gray concrete underground/indoors.

White concrete:      I never textured white concrete because we want to see the awesome lighting from Seus PTGI and not a texture. But now I tried to add very minimal grunge effects/pores - we can still see the global illumination well, I think. Let me know how you feel about it.

How to install?
Just overlay this Pack ontop of R14 or any other Pack. (small Packs have the advantage that you can just mix them however you want)  Or use it as a standalone. It only contains the content from this update.

I can't find the blocks ingame? - Read this post  :)
Help my trapdoors have lighting glitches! - Read this post  :)

Minecraft 1.14.4   +  Optifine U F3  +   SEUS PTIG E11    recommended
Settings and other info are on my website:    https://umsoea.com/

I aim to finish this in a few days, I'll notify you when it's done or you will most likely see the video.
Thank you so much for your support!

Just got patron, looks nice!!

yo I have a great idea! you should change the flint and steal into a lighter looking object!

does it r15 or sidepack?

How do I access your map?

Well, do you think that maybe I let a typo pass through John Wandel? All apologies. Corrected. You do know the T & R keys are right beside eachother, yes? FYI, if you read the previous 7 or 8 words, you would have noticed I'm referencing Lenovo's top of the line gaming laptop. With warranty, it was much closer to $3G,😉

How are u gonna spend a grand on a graphics card and not even know what it's called

I bought a Legion Y740 17" HDR & Vision screen with an RTX 2080 SPECIFICALLY to start building wood scapes, villages, and hopefully soon a jungle(sooo much involved there, and still trying to find packs that have the blocks I need) And lemmie tell you, that machine has made game play and development worth every Canadian rupee I paid for, and then some! Please keep up your progression, as I'm LOVING greenifying my village with your redstone! It's such a radical departure from the classic, in the BEST possible way, and NOW, with moving, shadow casting parts! I'm going to spend weeks playing with that one act of incorporation, and that's a good thing! I just love this new game of me and my son's(it's our best bonding thing, by far, Minecraft!) trying to figure out where to place whatever's been released this time. I belong to a few other Minecraft patrons, looking for that elusive mostly complete set, buy using several TPs at once . Again, thank you brother, for all your amazing realistic, and most importantly for me and my son, playable packages! You guy(s?) have revolutionized the game!

When you mention that SEUS won't be released publicly soon, he DOES have SEUS Revisited from Oct 2019 that's available publically. No while it doesn't have the million configurable features the say, E12 has, it's great to get a very good idea of what software ray tracing does. And better yet, for the noob, it can run on a potato PC! Little horsepower required, where as with E11 tuned to the max and your beautiful 1024x running in all its glory, makes my TRX 2080 start swallowing the high test, and heat up, lol Just a provisional thought? At the very least it will low a much larger base of people, for free, start to see what High Test Minecraft is all about, and like us, hopefully, want more. LOTS more, lol!
