(Almost) firing that big YAG laser

If anybody wants to come and pick up some YAG laser parts or that entire cabinet, let me know! I only want to keep the long black thingy.

You know it's serious business when a piece of equipment requires a key... Unless it's an old 286 or semi truck or something. Also, are you hoarding Volvos? Is the silver one an S60R by chance? Great content and video style, btw. There's a lot of really good stuff on youtube, but overall I like your channel the best. Keep up the great work!

Our countryside is riddled with human activity, poisonous chemical agriculture, greedy evil animal agriculture right at the border between legal and illegal, even in the remaining forests you are never out of sight of a hidden hunters high stand. Whoops, sorry for the rant, maybe I'll vent my frustration in a little vid some day and subject everybody to it :) Yeah that YAG laser was originally used to pump that big orange box behind it. That's a dye laser. But I don't really need that one either, so yeah it'll probably all be boiled down to a general purpose optical bench. It already has mounting holes all over 🥰

I know it's not exactly the point of collection, but that YAG laser seems like it's more trouble than it's worth. Does it have any specific functions any of your other high-power pulse lasers can't do? Are you looking at modifying the nice big optical table?
