... getting into DIY quadcopters is just overwhelming. I got this Beebee 66 micro racing quadcopter and there is absolutely no info available anywhere. They just assume that everyone knows about transmitters and receivers, iBus and PPM, betaflight and angle mode, accelerometer calibration, arming, ........
I am thinking about bypassing all that (artifically ?) complicated stuff and just controlling the brushless motor drivers with a microcontroller directly. But then again it might be complicated for a reason?
Either way there will be a LoRa controlled long-range quadcopter at some point.

I even got that extra strong braided fishing line, that someone suggested for the antenna mast.
