Cetus 3D mods and revolutionary timelapse

Not gonna lie, I thought I'd just get that camera out of my 'free-products-to-include-in-some-video-shelf' by making a quick one, but I ended up enjoying this video very much, especially the second half. I hope you do too :)

Thank you, I appreciate it :)

Thanks for your help with the code via Youtube comments, happy to become a patreon!

Sure: <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2759794" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2759794</a> Hope you'll enjoy the printer as much as I do! How did you determine that you have to relevel the build platform? I've never really measured the levelness because the raft evens out small errors.

Marco Reps

I bought the cetus 3d because of you. I erm... overheated the build platform with my heat gun... I need to relevel it... could you please post the file for your perfectly efficient dial indicator holder?

David Miedema

Great stuff as always!

BergRD

According to the manufacturer it can go all the way up to 300°C and that is where the Software stops, too. I think I set it as high as 280°C for maximum strength of my ~screwdriver-drill-press~

Marco Reps

Very nice. What temperature did you print that PC at ? I wasn’t sure the Cetus could go up to 260C ? :)

Thank you for the feedback! When I go through the video a thousand times during editing I end up knowing it so well, that it becomes difficult to foresee how it will look to others. It was even worse before, when I didn't have the grey info cards and more example prints and an entire segment about that other camera on the right @ 4:11 :)

Marco Reps

Oh there's plenty time for sleeping, this 9 minute video was in the making for 14 days :-\

Marco Reps

Excellent. When do you sleep?

Too dense! Maybe its me, and I accidentally drank the wife's De-caff this morning, but it seems like a lot in a very short time. Like the surveilance python though :)

Marco Vujevic

Great video to watch.
