This is the memory chip from the damned Zoom H4n audio recorder I have been working on for weeks.
The fact that I am getting legible data means that I am finally talking to the chip correctly and I may be very close to manually flashing the firmware.
(I was dangerously close to giving up on this one ... )

I have no idea :) I do have a firmware.bin file and it is almost identical (same symbols in the same formations, but slightly offset)I had hoped to find that the chip data just ends somewhere, which would have confirmed my power-loss during update theory, but no luck yet ...
