Private Practice - Quarterly Release (ALPHA)
Added 2022-10-09 23:35:55 +0000 UTCIt is finally here! Private Practice now has an Emergency Event, Heart Attacks. This introduces the likelihood of death a lot sooner than a shortened lifespan that occurs with Blood Pressure.
Summary of Changes
We added/changed the following:
- NEW ILLNESS - HEART ATTACKS: Sims with High Blood Pressure and/or other health risks have increased chances of experiencing a Heart Attack.
- NEW HEALTH SERVICE - BYPASS SURGERY: If your Sims have a Heart Attack, they can now schedule an Emergency Bypass Surgery as a way to circumvent death.
- REMOTE INPATIENT CARE: After a Bypass, your Sim will be sent to the local hospital to recover via a rabbithole.
- NEW MEDICATION - CLOPIDOGREL: Additional medication is available to help regulate a Sim's heart condition and prevent future Heart Attacks.

This goes into tiers of testing. Eventually, it will come down to the Backer tier. The version you mentioned is actually free, and you don't need to pay for that one. 2022-10-21 03:28:41 +0000 UTCI originally paid £2 for PrivatePractice_2.3.4.3.package. I just tried to update this mod, but I am being asked to become a patron for £7 a month in order to download it. I am a patron of several other mod makers, and adding £7 a month to what I already pay out, is an added expense I cannot afford in these hard economic times. So, if this is how it is going to be, then I will just remove the mod from my game. Thanks for creating a great mod though!
