Your Exclusive Preview: Visual Approach Into Stunning Bonaire! | Cockpit View | Life Of An Airline Pilot

Hey guys!

During this upcoming weekend I’ll be uploading this new YouTube video.

A visual approach into Bonaire!

Please let me know what you think about:

Should I add music to the video or leave it the way it is now?

And if you have any other feedback please don't hesitate to share it. I am still able to alter the video :)

Hope you are all doing well! Have a great day! 😘 Michelle

That would be great! Hope they add a feature like that at some point! Will see if I can add speed information. The issue is that the speed is constantly changing and theres not really an easy way to implement that info. I will think about it though!

Michelle

Hi, you are correct! This was a Boeing 787 😉

Michelle

Thanks Robert, the video will be published tomorrow. Will try to add that information to the video!

Thanks Alan!

Thanks for your feedback Mitch!

Hi Michelle! Greased it! Nice and clean. Would love to see TAS/GS on these too. Also, keeping the original flight deck sounds with no music would be perfect. One of these days YouTube will have an extension for multiple tracks. Then you can have one with music and other with original sounds. And possibility for various languages too! Thanks for your work! Many happy landings! Hallo Michelle! Thanks ☺️

I much prefer the actual sounds from the flight deck over music. It gives a much better feel for what is happening, especially altitude call outs and other sounds. It appears was not a B737 aircraft; when you're not the pilot flying, I'm always interested in what aircraft type the video is being made on. I was surprised that back taxing is required when landing on Runway 10. As always, I very much enjoyed this video. Have a wonderful weekend, Michelle.

To general viewers on YouTube... Supply information regarding aircraft type and capabilities too... Flight crew assignments usual stuff but not normally thought of. Thank you. Lite music in the background could be more entertaining to general viewers.

I agree with the others. Better without music and listen to the engines. Another great video - interesting to see the landing at a smaller runway where there is a need to back track. The best bit for me is the moment of touch down and the “clunk” as the wheels hit the runway but the whole video is great especially the blue sky and going through the clouds. KEEP ON FLYING.

Michelle, that’s what I call a perfect landing. Great video. It’s far more pleasant without the music. Hope you enjoy your R and R with some swimming, after a long cold winter in Amsterdam. 👏👏😘

Excellent video Michelle, I enjoyed it just like it is, without music. Have a great weekend!
