Curious to hear your thoughts (about the thumbnail and title as well) 😉

Have a great day! 😘

Another fantastic and informative video Michelle. To someone who has no connection to the aviation industry you provide a fascinating insight into what goes on to enable us to travel on our holidays etc. I guessed that you must have a lot of training to do your job but never did I think about pilot loans and getting employment etc. I think that your attitude and personality have enabled you to achieve your goals with such determination and hard work. It is obvious that you love your job and this comes through your narrative increasing the pleasure to us readers. Please continue your good work and very best wishes for the next ten years and I hope that I will be able to continue to enjoy reading about your journey. Best wishes and keep on flying. Alan. PS. Although I am a Patron I don’t understand why I received no notification of your post nor do I know if you have posted the final version.

Good video!

Matt

As far as the title. “My 10yrs as an Airline Pilot: Things I wished I knew in the beginning”. I omitted “My Story” since it’s already established twice. Added “in the beginning” since it was a learning curve that got better from acquiring knowledge and experience. Hope that helps! Just finished some gardening and found an exotic beautiful flower that popped outta nowhere. Even my app cannot identify!

Thanks Robert, hahah I will!

Michelle

Thanks Luigi, I agree about the title, still not sure how to make it more interesting... Changed the thumbnail already, guess the new one is better! Maybe I can invite my twin sister more often ;)

Michelle

Thanks Henry! You're welcome!

Michelle.... Say hello to your twin sister for me I think she has a marvelous personality too just like you. Sort of like the ego and the id except also scanning avionics at the same time. Good video. Kept to the point and essentially a "readers digest" review of your overall experience. An important concept that you hit upon was keep your options open which will serve anyone in any circumstance vocational or not. Also be flexible and know when to augment or change your circumstances and avoid being numbed and numbered. Also maintain contact with friends and experience life away from employment and have a well rounded existence. Finally when undertaking responsibility at work or in personal finance know what you are getting yourself into and go the course and improve things as you go. Happy landings to the South.

Hi Michelle, Totally enjoyed your candid and interesting experience you had in the airline industry. I believe many young and aspiring pilots will think hard and seriously weight their options, especially in educational financing as well as their own stamina and well being. I really…really loved your intro. You, talking with your self/alter ego/ uhm… your twin? ;) Very creative indeed! Your thumbnail is fine, but your title needs the nail clippers 😬 Just cut it down a few more words. As always, I wish you the best for your career. If it’s not challenging, then there’s no adventure. Keep on keeping on! Thank you for your efforts! Ciao

Luigi Roberto

I enjoyed your story and your candid sharing of the real life situations you’ve been through. You demonstrate very well how to look and plan for the future, to anticipate and embrace change for success and to achieve your goals and happiness. Thank you for all of your effort in making these videos. I enjoy them all.

Henry Meador

Of course I enjoyed your video including where you were taking with yourself. You sure laid it out there, the pros and cons the ups and downs of becoming an pilot. Very informative you did a great job. Thanks

Mitch

Michelle, I liked it a lot. Wouldn’t change a thing. Sincerity goes a long way to get your points across and you did it! As you know from the live chat last week, I am not a pilot, but if I were a young person thinking about an aviation career, your video would be valuable in making a decision to “go” or “no go.” Chris (chrisr994)
