Slow has been quietly working on the L1A1 (SAS) Shorty and here is a first look!
This 7.62x51mm battle rifle was used by Australia and New Zealand during the Vietnam War. The Australians preferred the L1A1 over the M16 due to it's larger caliber and greater stopping power. They also introduced the common field modification of chopping down the barrel to what you see before you. This modification was made by the Special Air Service and we call it the L1A1 (SAS) Shorty.
