If it's not too late already: Chase Oliver -How do you feel about a single tax comparable to the likes of Georgism? (I'm not very familiar with the american party branches of libertarianism, no idea if he's closer to AnCap or a form of Minarchism) -What are you intending to do about the people cosplaying as libertarians inside the party who push essentially reactionary shit under the disguise of libertarianism, such as the owner of the LP NH account? -Why is the LP not more outspoken against Trump? He has shown he doesn't care about the law, nor other important things that libertarians should support, like free trade. Instead he's free to adress the convention.

2025-01-15 13:35:56 +0000 UTCQuestion for Dr K: In political discussions the colloquial left is often criticized for being too 'preachy'. I recently read an article where psychologist Florien Cramwinckel who obtained his PhD studying the social dynamics of morality explained that we as humans get a strong negative physical response to our morality being questioned by another. Everybody wants to be a good person. So if someone believes something opposite to me then one of us must be a bad person and it sure as hell isn't me... This leads us to not wanting to critically engage with the topic because we feel like we are being attacked. Political discussions (especially between left- and right wing ideas) often boil down to questions about morality. How do we have these discussions without our conversational partner feeling attacked and shutting down?

2025-01-07 07:07:42 +0000 UTCFor Coleman Hughes: I believe a large reason for why you are often given the label of 'Uncle Tom' is because some conservatives are co-opting your ideas for fundamentally different reasons than you. The beliefs of these people are then pinned onto you and you are given blame for legitimizing their problematic viewpoints. The journey to reaching our beliefs is just as important as the final destination. Copying the final destination with completely opposing journeys can lead to many problems downstream. How do you deal with people co-opting your ideas for the wrong reasons and using your ideas to justify things that you might not agree with? For example I strongly believe that Fox News writes articles about you criticizing DEI is not because they fundamentally understand and agree with your sentiments. Rather they write these articles because they want to further the narrative of looney Dems going crazy with DEI to get rid of white people.

2025-01-06 20:59:04 +0000 UTCA question to Chase Oliver, what does he think about the Libertarian party becoming significantly more pro-Russian? One example in particular is the so called "Rage Against the War Machine" rally in DC which from my understanding was organized by the Libertarian party and which always features many pro-Russian people alongside people from the Libertarian party, the first event also featured Jackson Hinkle.

2025-01-06 19:25:50 +0000 UTCA question to Dr. K with the wars in Ukraine and Israel Palestine has he ever talked to any on the ground psychiatrists about PTSD occurring among soldiers and civilians in those regions, and if yes then are there any interesting things he discovered by talking to them?

2025-01-06 19:16:35 +0000 UTCI would like to ask some questions. How did he come to his current philosophy? What steps led up to how he thinks now? I would also like to know the process of how did he come up with his most current album Amor Fati?
