Together, they explore how wealth distribution, social safety nets, and progressive policy frameworks can reshape societies. Whether you're an advocate for economic reform or just curious about the Nordic model, this episode provides a compelling look at the intersection of policy and ideology.

A small UBI would be worth it, just for the fact everyone would have one, new, salient thing that's like, 'hey, the government does do this one thing pretty well to be fair!'

He asked all the right questions and Matt gave (to my view) all the right answers. Extremely interesting to get a big picture view of Matt’s ideal welfare state proposal including all the little policy minutiae and responses to reasonable criticisms/concerns. I smiled bigger watching this than watching first Jimmy Timmy power hour as a kid. Biased fan of both of you, but bar none beat episode yet. Good shit.
