Welcome Home

Hey guys - this doesn't quite fit the mold of the Patreon, so I'm releasing this one for free here and on GSS.  I hope y'all enjoy it!  Lots more stories coming in the next few days as I put the finishing touches on 'em.

-----------------

Dan was practically vibrating with excitement. He was waiting at the airport, pacing between the ticket desk and the baggage carousel. Jason’s plane had been delayed by almost two hours, and Dan was aching to see his son.

A flood of people came out the exit door. Dan craned his neck to catch the first sight of his boy. Jason was near the end, a backpack hefted over one shoulder, and in no hurry to beat the rush. He must have gotten up absurdly early – he was dressed in a dingy a college hoodie and his brown hair was unkempt.

“Jason!” Dan shouted, waving his hand to make sure he was seen.

“Hey Dad,” Jason groaned, sticking out his hand for the obligatory handshake. Dan shook his hand, then pulled his son into a hug.

“I missed you,” Dan said, squeezing hard enough to embarrass Jason. “Welcome home!”

It was a half-hour before luggage started to show up on the carousel. Jason grabbed his duffel bag and the two men climbed into Dan’s truck. They lived in Greenroad, almost two hours away from the nearest airport.

“I’m glad you’re home,” Dan said as they pulled onto the highway. “Your Mom is really looking forward to seeing you.”

“Yeah.”

“You want to take a nap? I can put on the radio,” Dan suggested. Jason looked tired to him.

“Nah, I’m okay. So... uh... how’s the store?”

“Good,” Dan said with a relaxed grin. “You’ll have to come by and see it tomorrow. I’ve expanded the computer section, and I’ve got six or seven floor model TVs now. It’s not Walmart or anything, but we’re doing well!”

“Yeah,” Jason said, staring out the window. Dan had spent the last fifteen years building up the electronics store in Greenroad. It was hard to believe a town of 6,000 could support a store, but everyone seemed happy to have something local.

Eventually Jason dozed off against the window. Dan turned down the volume and clicked on the radio. For the next ninety minutes he mouthed the words to his favourite country songs.

-------------

It was late by the time Dan pulled his truck down the long driveway. Sharon was sitting in the living room with a cup of herbal tea, watching one of her shows on the TV. When she heard wheels crunching up the driveway she smiled.

“We’re home!” Dan bellowed, hopping out of the truck. He grabbed Jason’s duffel bag from the back and hurried inside. Jason trudged slowly behind him.

“Welcome back!” Sharon called, standing in the open doorway. She gave Dan a kiss as he stepped by, then wrapped Jason tightly in her arms. “It’s so good to see you.”

“Hey Mom,” Jason said.

“Supper’s waiting in the oven,” she said, giving him another squeeze. “Put your things in your room and clean up, we’ll eat whenever you’re ready.”

Dan couldn’t help but notice Jason’s one word answers during the meal. Jason had never been a talkative kid, but he didn’t want to share anything about college. Friends, activities, even classes. Dan tried not to push it – it was the boys first night home, he just needed to ease back into country life.

He didn’t figure out what was wrong until later that night. Dan and Sharon had gone to bed, while Jason stayed up unpacking. Somewhere around midnight Dan realized he needed to piss so he got up and tiptoed out of the room. Sharon was a light sleeper.

The bathroom light was on and the door was open a crack. Dan caught a glimpse of Jason in the mirror, leaning against the counter and staring himself deep in the eyes.

“You can do this,” Jason was muttering softly to himself. “You’re gay... you’re gay... you’re gay... you can do this...”

Dan forgot about his bladder and tiptoed back to bed.

-------------

Though he spent the night in bed, Dan barely slept. He tossed and turned, replaying the scene in his mind again and again.

Jason was gay. Okay, that didn’t bother Dan. It was a surprise, but the more Dan thought about it, the more he realized that Jason had never talked about a crush or brought home a girlfriend or gotten caught with a dirty magazine. He’d simply assumed that Jason was straight – and clearly that had been unfair.

Gay people didn’t bother Dan, but he knew it could be tough for a gay person in a small town. Lots of guys made comments – harmless jokes, but suddenly Dan realized that it sounded very different to his son.

He thought back to the few gay people he’d know in town. A few kids over the years. They always left, moving away to the big city. Dan’s stomach lurched at the thought – would Jason be gone soon? Did he feel unwelcome in Greenroad? Alone?

When sunrise finally came Dan got up right away. He took a shower and got dressed in a haze.

“What’s wrong?” Sharon asked as she rubbed sleep from her eyes.

“I think Jason’s gay,” Dan said quietly.

“Don’t be ridiculous,” Sharon laughed. “Jason’s not gay. Don’t talk like that.”

-------------

Dan walked out back of the house, headed down towards the river. His cell phone was clutched in one hand, his lighter in the other. When he reached his smoke spot he lit up a cigarette and dialled the phone.

“Dan!” a cheerful voice said from the other end. “Long time!”

“Hey Matt,” Dan smiled. Matt was an old friend from school and he always managed to put a grin on Dan’s face. Matt was living in Chicago with his husband and Dan knew they’d have some answers.

“What’s wrong buddy,” Matt said, hearing the concern in Dan’s voice immediately.

“Uh... so Jason just graduated, and he’s back home now but... I overheard him talking last night and... well, my boy’s gay.”

“Okay,” Matt said calmly. “You overheard, right? He hasn’t told you yet?”

“That’s right,” Dan said, staring out at the river.

“Okay. So what are we talking about Danny?”

“Well... I’ve been up all night thinking. Every gay I know about here... they all moved away to the city. But Jason’s just a kid still... if he wants to move to the city or whatever, that’s okay, we’ll make it work... but I want him to feel like he can stay here if he wants.”

“Okay,” Matt said warmly.

“I don’t understand being gay,” Dan said. “But... I want him to feel safe and happy here, you know? I guess...”

“You need a few pointers?” Matt asked.

“Yeah.”

“Okay. Well, Jason’s gonna need to feel accepted, just like everyone else. He’s gonna need to feel like he’s part of a community. For a lot of us, that means moving somewhere with a decent sized gay village – Chicago’s pretty good, and you know we’ll look out for him if he ends up here. But if you want him to feel like he can stick around, he needs to feel accepted.”

“Should I ask him about it?” Dan asked.

“No!” Matt laughed suddenly. “No. Just... let him come out to you in his own time, okay? And in the meantime, be real careful about keeping negative comments about gay people out of your house. I know... I remember visiting and I know the kind of town you live in, but anything you can do to make the community more welcoming?”

“I can probably tell a few guys to shut their traps,” Dan nodded.

“Good,” Matt said. “Jason might not even notice, but it’ll impact him subconsciously.”

Eventually they hang up the phone. Dan sat and stared at the river until the cigarette burned his fingers.

-------------

Dan was working at the electronics store, sitting at the counter and staring out the window. Business at the store was slow most days, but the big purchases made up for it. Dan didn’t mind the extra time to think – especially after his conversation with Matt.

Jason would be impacted subconsciously. The words stuck to the inside of Dan’s head. He’d seen something recently...

Dan finally found it in his email. Some trashy spam message that claimed their subliminal program could be used to influence peoples behaviour. Install it on any smart TV. Dan bit his lip, but ultimately he paid the $39.95 and downloaded the program.

A half hour later he had it running on one of the TVs displayed in his shop. He loaded the program up with content – a picture of two men walking at a pride parade, another one of two men getting married, text like ‘It’s okay to be gay’ or ‘gay people are cool’. At first he let each image flash on screen for a full second, then once he confirmed it was working he changed the timing so it was impossible to see consciously. But subconsciously...

Subconsciously, he hoped that anyone who watched the TV for long enough would become more open and accepting towards homosexuals. Dan had his doubts, but it felt better than doing nothing.

He wandered around the shop and installed it on every TV he had. Even the big screen TV in the shop window. Dan was worried that people might catch on... maybe even think he was some kind of gay sex maniac himself... but as the day wore on, nobody even noticed it.

People would walk down the street and stop for a moment, glancing at whatever was on at two o’clock in the afternoon. Dan couldn’t wait to sell a TV or two and see if longer exposure would work.

Finally Pete Dumont walked into the store.

“Hey Pete,” Dan said, trying to sound casual. He could feel the sweat pooling under his pits.

“Hey,” Pete said with a broad smile. “The wife says it’s finally time to put the old TV out to pasture, pick up something new. Something from this century.”

Dan smiled. He’d been over to Pete’s house to watch the game plenty of times. The old 32” CRT hadn’t done the job right for years, but Jo-Ann knew how to pinch a penny harder than anyone.

“What are you looking for?” Pete asked.

“I’m thinking one of those big flatscreens,” Pete said, pointing at a display model.

“I’ve got ‘em in stock.”

“Will it hook to my satellite?” Pete asked. “I’ve got one of those dishes.”

“Yeah,” Dan nodded. “Yeah, no problem. I wouldn’t want to miss game day at your place.”

“For sure. And how about my son’s video game machine? The boy just moved home from college, and I guess that’s what kids do for fun.”

“Yup,” Dan nodded. “It can do that too. Slip me a twenty and I’ll swing by tonight, set it up for you.”

Pete swiped his card and grinned.

-------------

Dan drove his truck over to the Dumont ranch with the new TV tied down in the back. He’d already taken the time to install the subliminal program and test it out. He didn’t see any weird flickering or anything like that... hopefully the program would work.

Pete wasn’t a bad guy, but like most guys his age, gays were still an acceptable joke. Dan had always held his tongue – after all, Matt lived in Chicago, and he didn’t really know anyone else. But with Jason... Pete needed to knock that off.

Dan felt totally justified trying to change Pete’s mind.

Dan parked in front of the house and started loosening the straps. He heard Pete shout from inside. A moment later two college guys spilled out of the house – Pete’s son Harris and his buddy Sean. The two guys were an odd pair – Harris tall and blond and lanky, Sean short and stocky with dark brown hair.

“Hey Mr. Tart,” Harris said. “I hear you’ve got something for us.”

“Sure do,” Dan grinned. “And don’t worry, we’ll hook it up to your video games.”

Harris and Sean took one look at the giant box and grinned. Soon enough they’d carried it down the steps and into the basement family room. The old TV was paused in the middle of some shoot-em-up game.

“This’ll work good?” Harris asked as Dan connected the cables.

“It better!” Pete laughed, tossing Dan a beer. “C’mon upstairs – let’s shoot the shit and let the boys test it out.”

Dan listened as the guys started up their game again, gushing at the giant new screen. He sat upstair with Pete for a beer or two. They made smalltalk – Yeah, Sharon was doing well. Jo-Ann’s always off visiting her sister, huh? The ranch must be doing well?

After two beers Dan excused himself. There weren’t any shouts of outrage from the basement, so he figured it was safe to head home.

“Hey Dad,” Jason said when he arrived. “Mom and I ate already – there’s a plate in the oven.”

“Thanks son.”

“Can I borrow the truck tonight?” Jason asked. “I wanna head out to the lake.”

Dan smiled and tossed him the keys.

“Have fun.”

-------------

Jason drove the truck down a dirt road, retracing a familiar route. He had a six pack of beer in the passenger seat. The lake wasn’t far, and some friends from high school had texted when they heard he was back in town. The last days of summer meant late nights drinking and horsing around.

He pulled the truck off to the side of the field. There were at least a dozen trucks there already, and groups of people clustered at the south end. The lake was just down a path, and there was a decent cliff that some guys liked to jump off.

With a deep breath, Jason stepped out of the truck.

“Look at Mr. Education,” his high school buddy Luke wisecracked. Jason glanced down and realized he’d worn a college hoodie – four years old at this point, and comfortably worn in, but to Luke and Scott and Adam it probably looked like he was showing off.

“Fuck off,” Jason shot back. “Yeah, I got the piece of paper. Still here drinking with you assholes.”

That made everyone laugh. Soon they were drinking and smoking together – just like old times. Almost like old times. Jason wasn’t saying it out loud, but everyone could tell he didn’t really fit in after four years away. Luke would make a racist joke and he’d be the only one not to laugh. Adam would go on some rant about the government and Jason had to bite his tongue.

About an hour later, Harris’ truck pulled up. Sean hopped out the passenger side.

“Hey boys,” Adam called out, clearly drunk. “What, you two on a date or somethin’?”

“Fuck off,” Sean laughed, rolling his eyes dramatically. “Just decided to save a little gas money. And what if we are – it’s okay to be gay, right?”

“Whatever,” Adam said, taking a drink of his beer. The night moved on without pause.

But Jason felt a little less alone.

-------------

The little bell above the door made its noise.

“Just a sec,” Dan called from the back room. He’d just received new inventory and was carefully arranging everything in storage.

“Better hurry,” he heard Craig Perkins call from the front. “I’m gonna take my money to Best Buy!” The man laughed uproariously at his own joke.

Dan strolled out front and grinned.

“Better not,” he chuckled. “Unless you need a farmhand.”

Craig was a couple of years older than Dan, with wide shoulders and a powerful back from years of hard work on his farm. Dan couldn’t help but notice the way Craig carried himself – strong and confident.

“How about this one?” Craig said, pointing at a display model. “Flo says she’s tired of me hogging the TV all night. Time to get a spare.”

“Yeah,” Dan nodded. “You’ll like this one. I’m out of stock on it, but I can get it shipped in. I could bring it by your place... day after tomorrow?”

“How about I just take the floor model?” Craig asked. “Full price.”

“Sure,” Dan agreed. He helped Craig load the TV into his truck and watched Craig drive off. Another happy customer, and hopefully another accepting neighbour. Craig’s son Adam was Jason’s buddy, maybe that’d make the difference.

-------------

The days seemed to fly by. Dan was having a good week – he’d sold a half-dozen TVs, a couple of computers, and a bunch of accessories. As he was locking up for the weekend he heard a shout.

He turned and smiled. It was Carson, the bartender at their local watering hole. He was an attractive guy – big biceps and a tight black t-shirt that showed off his pecs. It was a shame he wore those baggy jeans, Dan thought, cause even with the bagginess he could tell Carson had one hell of an ass.

“Hey!” Carson said, breathing heavy. “Are you in a rush?”

“No,” Dan said. He had plans, but nothing to delay a sale. “What’s up?”

“The TV at the bar just blew out. There’s the game tonight and... do you have anything in stock? In a couple hours I’m gonna have a bar full of drunks and no football.”

Dan unlocked the door and ushered Carson inside. After a few minutes Carson settled on a midsized TV that would hook to his wall mount. Dan told him to wait a couple minutes – these new TVs all needed firmware updates, he’d take care of it so Carson didn’t have any problems.

Instead he took the TV into the back and loaded on the subliminal programming. Dan had been tweaking it all week – it wasn’t just pictures of pride parades and weddings now. He’d included a few shirtless pictures well built guys. Even one screenshot from a hardcore porn scene, some guy with a big cock pounding a shorter mans ass. Dan had spent hours online finding the perfect images.

He hesitated for just a second before turning up the frequency of the subliminal messages. He’d seen a lot less homophobia coming from Pete and some of the other guys. The TVs seemed to be doing their job, and Dan couldn’t pass up the town bar. All those guys... it’d be a major win for Jason.

-------------

“Hey Dad, can I borrow the truck?” Jason asked at supper.

“Yeah, but it’s gonna rain,” Dan noted. “Bad night for the lake.”

“We’re gonna hit up the bar,” Jason shrugged. “Everyone knows it’s gonna rain Dad. We’ve got phones.”

“Okay smartass,” Dan chuckled, tossing him the keys.

When Jason got to the bar it was packed. Mostly younger people, but more than a few older guys. The music was country and it was loud. He grabbed a beer from Carson and surveyed the room.

Harris waved him over to their table. He was seated beside Sean, and across from their girlfriends Jess and Maddie.

“Lemme out,” Sean said before Jason sat down. “I’m gonna have a smoke.”

Jason took his seat and smiled at the two women across from him. They’d both matured since high school, both of them reflecting an innocent beauty. It was different from the girls he’d met at school.

“So how are things?” Maddie asked, touching Jason lightly on the hand.

“Okay,” Jason nodded. “I mean, I just got back. Still not sure what I’m gonna do.”

“That’s okay,” Jess nodded. “I’m still working at the department store. Everyone’s gotta do something.”

They kept chatting, swapping stories about old times and catching Jason up on the latest town scandals. The quarterback was using steroids. The preacher was still getting day drunk. Mrs. Paulson had at least two boyfriends.

“And what about you?” Jason asked them. “How have you been doing?”

“Well... this is our first time out all week,” Jess said pointedly, glancing at Harris. “I swear, Harry and Sean spend half their lives playing dumb video games. We’re only out tonight cause Harry’s dad is having a bunch of guys over for the game.”

“True enough,” Harris shrugged.

“Where’s Sean gone off to anyhow?” Maddie asked. “He was just going for a smoke, right?”

“I’ll check,” Jason volunteered. Ten minutes of town scandals had been mind-numbing, and he wasn’t eager to learn more.

He walked out of the bar and glanced around. Sean was leaning on the corner of the building, smoking a cigarette and staring at something on his phone.

“Hey,” Jason joked. “Maddie’s wondering if you found another girl.”

Sean held his phone out so Jason could see.

“This you?” he asked.

Jason stared at the photo. It was from college. The lighting was bad, but it was clearly a picture of him making out with another guy. His ex-boyfriend actually – Jason couldn’t believe he’d left that photo online.

“Yeah,” Jason admitted nervously.

“So you’re like... into guys?” Sean asked, raising an eyebrow.

“Uh... yeah,” Jason shrugged, trying to look matter of fact about it.

“Good,” Sean grinned. “Cause I’m seriously into you.”

He grabbed the front of Jason’s shirt and pulled him in for a kiss.

-------------

Dan pulled his wife’s car into Pete’s driveway. He was a little embarrassed to drive the hybrid, but it was better than walking. Jason needed his own truck soon.

He grabbed chips and dip from the passenger seat and rang Pete’s bell. The door swung open and Pete welcomed him inside.

“Thank god you brought food,” Pete joked. “Jo’s out visiting her folks for the weekend. It’s just the boys tonight!”

As Dan followed Pete downstairs he couldn’t take his eyes off Pete’s ass. It wasn’t the bubble that he’d seen on Carson, but Pete was wearing a tight pair of gym shorts and a t-shirt. From the style and the size... Dan suspected the clothes really belonged to Harris.

There were two other guys downstairs – Nick Jones and Kevin Vanderkooj. Dan had known them for decades. Nick ran the farm supply store, and Kevin did accounting for half the businesses in town.

And yet, somehow they surprised him. Where Nick typically wore jeans and a flannel, he’d made some modifications. The jeans were cutoff roughly into a pair of shorts, and he’d torn the sleeves off of the checked shirt he was wearing. Despite his work at the store, Nick still kept up a beefy build and he was showing it off.

Kevin had changed his usual costume too. Instead of a blue button-down shirt, he was wearing a shiny pink shirt made out of silk. He’d tucked it into a tight pair of suit pants, then unfastened the top three buttons. Dan stared at his partially exposed pecs.

“Hey Dan,” Kevin waved. “Ready to kick back?”

“Uh, yeah...” Dan stared. He couldn’t believe it – between the tight clothes and the exposed skin, he got the feeling the subliminal messages were affecting some men more than others. He let his eyes slide up Nick’s hairy calves until they landed on his thick bulge.

Pete squeezed in beside Dan on the couch.

-------------

Jason’s surprise was fading, replaced only with desire. He’d crushed on Sean for years in high school. Truth be told, he’d crushed on most of the guys his age at one point or another. Now, with Sean’s lips firmly against his, the crush on Sean seemed most important.

He reached around behind Sean and ran his hand up the other mans spine, feeling the soft flannel that Sean wore over his faded t-shirt. The other man pressed Jason against the wall.

“Oh my god!” he heard his mothers voice scream. “Get the hell away from my son!”

Jason’s Mom was climbing out of a cab and headed straight for them. Jason broke off the kiss, pushing Sean roughly away.

“Hey,” Sean protested.

“Mom, this is none of your business,” Jason insisted as his Mom stormed towards him.

“Like hell it isn’t,” she seethed. “You’re sneaking out and doing.... evil things. And your father isn’t answering his cell phone!”

“Mom!”

“Come on,” she ordered, tugging him toward the bar. “Let’s get your father and then we’re going home.”

“Mrs. Tart, stop!” Sean trailed behind as Jason was dragged into the bar. “He didn’t do anything wrong!”

“Dan!” she yelled, looking around the bar. “Dan! Where the fuck are you?!”

As she screamed, people started to take their eyes off the game and stare at her.

“What?” Sharon screamed. “Are you all judging me? Because my husband won’t come home and my son got seduced by this gay slut!”

She jabbed out her finger at Sean accusingly.

The bar went deadly silent. All eyes were on Jason’s Mom, slowly melting down.

“What the hell?!” Harris bellowed from across the room. He slid out of the booth and stalked towards Jason and Sean. “You’re seducing Jason now?

Sean looked guilty, suddenly silent and glancing at the floor.

“We never said we’re exclusive,” Sean muttered.

“Keep your fucking hands off my boyfriend,” Harris shouted, moving to push Jason.

“Whoa,” Jason said, raising his hands in mock surrender “I didn’t know you two were a thing.”

“Hey! We never said we were exclusive!” Sean chirped from the sidelines.

“What are you guys talking about?” Maddie asked. “You’ve got girlfriends! You can’t be... GAY?!”

“Um... yeah...” Sean said, looking guilty again.. “I’m sorry babe... it just kinda happened. It’s not about you, and I’m sorry if it hurts. I shoulda told you sooner.”

“What the hell?” Jason’s Mom shouted. “I won’t stand for this in Greenroad!”

“Lady, shut up,” one of the guys at the bar said. “There’s nothin’ wrong with bein’ gay.”

“Yeah,” another guy piped up. “Some dudes like cock, ain’t none of your business. Sit down and watch the game.”

He pointed up at the TV and Sharon glanced up at it. The football game was on, but the screen was flickering and flashing wildly. She could see the game, but she could also see... something else.

Something... different.

All three of the women stared at the screen for a long few seconds.

“I guess... there’s nothing wrong with gay guys,” Jess said slowly.

“Yeah,” Maddie agreed, her eyes on the TV. “It’s only natural.”

“It’s just, it’s such a shock,” Jason’s Mom said, shaking her head slowly. “Let’s get a glass of wine... I think we need some girl time.”

The walked back to a booth in the corner, leaving Jason standing with Harris and Sean.

“C’mon Jason,” Sean said quietly. “Let’s get outta here.”

-------------

Dan was blissfully oblivious to the drama happening with his family. His phone was muted and facedown on Pete’s coffee table, surrounded by empty beer cans.

“Man,” Kevin said, his eyes locked on the football game. “I wish I was big and buff like these guys. Imagine having an ass like that...”

“Don’t worry Kev,” Pete reassured him. “You’ve got a great ass. It’s nice and tight... that’s your look. Not everyone can be a muscle beast.”

“I’m gonna be,” Nick grinned. “Started going to the gym every morning.”

“Seriously?” Dan asked. “You’re already huge, what’s the gym gonna do for you?”

“I want a bubble butt,” Nick grinned, reaching down to adjust his package. “That shit doesn’t just happen.”

Dan stared at Nick. The man was covered in muscle. Hard to believe he wanted more.

“What’s wrong Dan,” Pete teased, landing one meaty paw on Dan’s thigh and squeezing. “You don’t wanna look hot for the boys?”

Dan shifted uncomfortably on the couch. He was sandwiched between Pete and Nick, and his dick was starting to get hard.

“Uh... I never really thought about it,” Dan lied.

“C’mon,” Pete grinned. “I betcha ten bucks – if I drop my shorts right now, you’ll suck my cock.”

“Now way,” Dan lied again, shaking his head.

“Fine,” Pete laughed. “It’s a bet.”

He stood up and dropped his shorts. Pete was hanging loose underneath, his cock rising rapidly and his heavy balls giving off the perfect musk. Dan couldn’t take his eyes off Pete’s cock as both men inflated to full size.

So thick... so beautiful... everything about it... he just couldn’t resist.

Dan pulled a crumpled ten from his wallet and tossed it on the table. His mouth hung slightly open as he got down on his knees, swallowing Pete’s cock like he’d done it a thousand times before.

“That’s right babe,” Pete moaned.

-------------

Sean’s apartment was exactly what you expect from a twenty-two year old. A couple couches in the living room, a TV, and a queen sized mattress in the bedroom. The trash was full of beer cans and microwave dinners.

Jason sat down across from Sean and Harris. Each of them was holding a beer, but nobody was really drinking.

“So... that was weird, right?” Jason finally said. “I never... I never knew this town was so supportive.”

“Yeah,” Harris shrugged. “I mean... something’s going around. Sean and I only started hooking up a few days ago. We uh... we barely know what we’re doing...”

“But it feels good!” Sean grinned. “Like it feels right, you know? Being gay is cool. And then I was creeping your socials and I saw that pic and... I thought... uh, maybe you could give us some tips?”

“Tips?” Jason said with a puzzled look.

“Yeah... like we’ve been jerking each other off and stuff, and I’ve sucked Harris’ dick a couple times, but we’ve been watching porn together and...”

“You two seriously want sex tips?” Jason laughed. “I mean... yeah, we can talk. I’m not like... an expert or anything, but...”

“Actually,” Sean interrupted, putting his beer down next to the couch. He moved over to the other couch, climbing on Jason’s lap so the two men faced eachother.

He kissed Jason deeply.

“I was thinking we could do more than talk,” Sean said, glancing back at his boyfriend. Harris put down his beer and stripped off his shirt, tossing it to the side.

The three men abandoned their beers and headed for the bedroom. Along the way Sean shucked off his shirt and dropped his jeans to the floor. Jason went to strip off his own shirt, but Harris stopped him.

"Let me," Harris said, running his hands underneath Jason's shirt and feeling up his young muscle. While Harris groped at Jason's torso, Sean slid off his boxers and pressed his body against Jason's, kissing along the back of Jason's neck.

The three men fell onto the bed. Sean pulled off Jason's shirt and pants, revealing his lean, muscular body. Harris yanked off his jeans and boxers before moving to suck the Jason’s cock.

"I want you to fuck me," Sean whispered into Jason's ear. Jason glanced over at Harris – the other man grinned eagerly.

"Sure," Jason nodded, going along with whatever was happening. Was it a prank? It had to be a prank. "You got any lube?"

"Yeah," Harris grinned, pulling out a plastic bag from the pharmacy.

"Hell yes," Sean gasped. He lifted his legs, pushing his ass up high in the air.

"Looks like someone's eager," Jason chuckled.

"Fuck me," Sean moaned. "Fuck me hard. Please."

Jason slowly pushed his cock into Sean's virgin hole.

"Oh fuck," Sean moaned. "Oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck!"

Jason slowly fucked Sean, driving his cock in and pulling out. Sean looked like he was in heaven – definitely not a prank.

"How does it feel?" Harris asked. He couldn't take his eyes off Jason's cock as it slipped in and out of his boyfriends hole.

"Fucking amazing," Jason moaned. "He's so fucking tight."

"It feels so good babe..." Sean gasped, moaning with each thrust. "You gotta try it..."

"You want this?" Jason asked, pulling out his cock and waving it at Harris.

"Fuck yeah," Sean moaned. "Take a ride babe... it feels so fucking good."

Harris didn't hesitate. He took up position next to Sean, thrusting his ass into the air and holding his breath with anticipation. He didn't have to wait long – Jason gave generous dollop of lube and then pressed his dick into Harris' eager hole.

Harris moaned loudly as Jason began to fuck him, filling his ass with cock.

"That's so fucking hot!" Sean gasped.

"Oh fuck," Harris groaned. "Fuck my ass... It's so good to be gay..."

Jason buried his cock in Harris' ass over and over, grunting loudly. Sean stared with a jealous look, his cock hard and dripping with anticipation.

"When's it my turn again?!" Sean moaned. "I want someone to fuck me!"

Jason smiled. He reached over, grabbing Sean's cock.

"You want it?" Jason asked.

"God yes," Sean moaned.

Jason pulled his cock from Harris' ass. Harris moaned as he felt the cock disappear.

"C'mon Harris, put some lube on your cock," Jason encouraged him. "You're gonna fuck Sean now, okay?"

"Okay," Harris said, nodding along like he was in a trance. He put on a thick coat of lube, then lined up with Sean's hole. He pushed his hips slowly forward, loving the way Sean’s hole gripped his cock.

"Holy fuck..." Harris moaned. "It never... this feels so good..."

"Tell me about it," Sean moaned, his face buried in the pillow.

Harris pounded away at Sean's ass, bouncing his cock off the sensitive walls of the hole.

"Fuck me harder!" Sean pleaded. "Fuck me harder..."

"I'm trying!" Harris laughed.

Harris grunted as he fucked Sean harder, ramming his hips forward and back with each thrust.

"Fuck my ass!" Sean cried. "Fuck me!"

Harris' eyes rolled back into his head as he drove his cock into Sean's ass.

"OH FUCK!" Sean screamed. His cock was pulsing, his balls spewing a torrent of cum over his sheets.

"Holy fuck!" Harris gasped. "I'm cumming!"

The newly minted top shot a massive load deep into Sean's ass. Harris collapsed on top of Sean, panting and trying to catch his breath.

"That was..." Harris said, gasping for air.

"I knew it!” Sean moaned smugly. "I knew I'm a bottom!"

"Lucky for me," Harris grinned, rolling off Sean and staring up at Jason with stars in his eyes. "What about you bro... you want my cock?"

"Nah," Jason grinned. "I'm a top. But if Sean's up for another ride..."

A few minutes later they were going again.

-------------

It was late the next morning before any of them woke up. Jason was big spoon with his arms wrapped tightly around Sean. The beefy bottom was sandwiched between Jason and Harris, feeling safe and secure.

“Mmmm...” he sighed, squirming a little and feeling the weight of the other men pressing against his body.

“Morning babe,” Harris yawned. He kissed Sean on the forehead and breathed in his sweaty scent.

“Mmmm...” Sean moaned again. “I need something greasy... you guys wanna hit up the diner?”

“Yeah, I could use breakfast,” Jason said with a slight smile. For a minute or two, it didn’t matter that he was back in Greenroad. Harris got up to shower while Sean and Jason cuddled together, enjoying the feel of their young bodies.

By the time Jason stepped out of the shower, Sean and Harris were ready to go. Harris was dressed in his clothes from the night before, but Sean had squeezed into an old pair of jeans and was wearing a tanktop that was at least a size too small. Sean’s hair was spiked up with gel. He looked like every gay freshman Jason had met at college.

“That’s a new look,” Jason chuckled, pulling on his boxers from the night before.

“Yeah,” Harris teased. “I thought you didn’t want to look all gay, just cause we’re hooking up.”

“Oh whatever,” Sean said, rolling his eyes. “After the show at the bar last night, I think we’re all out now. Don’t you think I look hot?”

“Baby, you always look hot,” Harris grinned.

They piled into Jason’s truck and rode to the diner. The greasy spoon was packed – it took nearly ten minutes before the waitress came by and poured their coffees. She gave Sean a quick once-over before moving on with her rounds.

“Huh, I thought this look woulda gotten a comment,” Sean grinned.

“I dunno babe, look around,” Harris shrugged.

The place was packed – and more than a few tables were just guys. Craig and his buddy Mike. Adam and his pal Scott. From the smiles and the subtle touches, Jason realized that Sean and Harris weren’t the only newly minted gay guys in town.

“Holy shit,” Sean said, glancing around eagerly. He stared at Adam and Scott – both well known homophobes, now dressed in matching jeans and tight white t-shirts, holding hands over the table and making eachother smile.

“Yeah, whatever’s going on... it’s spreading, huh?” Harris smirked. “This town isn’t gonna be the same.”

“Nah,” Sean grinned flirtatiously. “It’s gonna be better.”

-------------

Sean and Harris decided to walk home. Jason felt a twinge of jealousy, watching the two men walk down the street holding hands. Despite what he’d seen in the diner and at the bar, he couldn’t shake the feeling that this was all temporary.

As he drove the truck slowly through town he kept seeing evidence that something was happening to the men of Greenroad. There were still plenty of men driving around with their girlfriends, but Jason couldn’t believe how many pairs of men he saw. Holding hands. Sharing a hot tub. Working in the garden together. Were they all gay couples?

He pulled into the driveway and steeled himself for a scolding. Staying out all night was never okay.

Jason found his Dad in the kitchen, cooking in just his boxers and an apron. Kevin Vanderkooj, the town accountant, was sitting at the table in boxers and a t-shirt.

“Uh... hey Dad,” Jason said cautiously.

“Hey buddy,” Dan said. “Want some eggs?”

“Sure. Um... where’s Mom?”

“She’s over at the Dumont’s place,” Dan admitted. “Pete’s wife Jo-Ann uh... she came home early last night. Caught us boys fooling around a little, you know?”

“Dad!”

“What? It’s nothing to be ashamed of, but we figured the women probably needed some space. Pete and Nick are upstairs taking a shower, hope you don’t mind, I put ‘em in your bed last night. Your Mom sorta mentioned that you uh... were out with friends.”

“Yeah,” Jason said. “I uh... I spent the night at Sean’s place.”

“I hope Harris was there!” Pete boomed out. He walked into the kitchen wearing nothing but a thin pair of workout shorts. “My boy takes after me, he’s gotta be a stallion in the sack!”

“Pete, don’t traumatize the boy,” Dan laughed. “I’m sorry Jason, forget you heard that.”

“What?” Pete laughed. “It’s just guys here.”

“So what...?” Jason asked. “You’re all gay too?”

“No need for labels,” Pete shrugged.

“Look Jay... I always thought I was straight,” Dan said tenderly. But these past few days... yeah, my tastes have changed. But there’s nothing wrong with being gay.”

“Nothin’ wrong at all,” Kevin echoed. “Sorry Jason, I hope this isn’t too weird for you.”

“Weird doesn’t cover it.”

-------------

The weeks passed by. Autumn colours spread through the trees and the last of the harvest was stored away. The first snow fell and Dan bundled up in his winter coat. He listened to the styrofoam crunch from the snow under his boots while he mouthed along to Shawn Mendes on his earbuds.

He ducked into the pizza place on Main Street and looked around. Jason was already there waiting for him. A twinky waiter saw Dan approach and sashayed over.

“Hey babe,” the waiter said, filling Dan’s water. “What can I get you?”

“Couple slices of the meatlovers,” Dan said. “And can I get a coffee?”

“You got it... meatlover,” the twink said with a flirty wink. Dan stared for a second as his tight ass swished towards the kitchen. The kid couldn’t have been more than 22... far too young for him. Dan sighed... if only he’d been out at that age...

“Earth to Dad,” Jason said, snapping his fingers at Dan.

“Hey. Sorry,” Dan blushed.

“He’s like half your age,” Jason sighed.

“Still nice to look at,” Dan shrugged. “How’s life?”

“Good,” Jason said. “Harris and Sean and me moved in together... that apartment over the coffee shop.”

“That’s a two bedroom, right?” Dan asked.

“Yeah... our relationship is all... it’s undefined and open and stuff... I dunno, we’re still figuring it out.”

“I heard Sean’s such a horny bottom,” Dan chuckled. “Probably takes both of you to keep him filled.”

“Dad!”

“What? Fine, we don’t have to talk about your boyfriend,” Dan grinned.

“Soooo... how’s Mom?” Jason asked.

It was Dan’s turn to sigh.

“She’s getting herself figured out,” he said. “I gave her the house, and she’s starting to mellow a bit... she’s watching a lot of Queer Eye. Will and Grace. Oh, she’s getting like... super into Ru Paul!”

“Great,” Jason said, glancing out the window. Trey and his boyfriend Scott were walking past the restaurant. Trey was such a mans-man, insisting that he didn’t need anything but a t-shirt and booty shorts, even given the snow. Scott was dressed more sensibly in a peacoat and jeans. He looked away quickly, trying to avoid staring.

“You know you can look,” Dan said confidently. “There’s nothing wrong with being gay and everyone here knows it. And I think Trey likes the attention...”

“Yeah, I just...” Jason stuttered. “I never thought I’d see that in Greenroad.”

“Some things never change,” Dan chuckled. “But then again, some things do.”

The waiter came by with their food. He gave Dan a slutty wink before moving away. Dan couldn’t resist grinning – he knew Jason didn’t approve, but ever since he’d started dressing better, getting nicer haircuts, wearing a little makeup... Dan was getting a lot more interested looks.

“Dad, can I tell you something,” Jason said quietly. He glanced around, making sure nobody was within earshot.

“Anything son,” Dan said gently. “You know that.”

“Well... um, Dad... I figured out I was gay in college. And that’s cool, that happens... but then I moved back here, and now it seems like half the guys in town are... I think maybe I brought it with me...”

“Jason...” Dan said, reaching out to squeeze his son’s hand.

“I’m feeling guilty,” Jason admitted. “I mean, you and Mom...”

Dan glanced down at his coffee and blushed.

“Listen Jay... your Mom and me... we haven’t been uh... active... not for a long time.”

“Yeah, but now you’re fucking –“

“I’m dating Kevin Vanderkooj,” Dan interrupted. “He makes me really happy. And I make him happy Jay. That’s the thing – when it comes to half the town going gay... as long as we’re all happy, who cares what caused it?”

"I'm just worried –“

“Don’t,” Dan ordered. “Jay, a guy your age, you shouldn’t be worried about anything. I want you out there having fun, not trying to solve the worlds problems, okay? Your new place – I know y’all like video games – do you guys have a nice TV?”

“Dad, don’t,” Jason moaned. “Sean’s old TV is fine.”

“I’ll drop by after work,” Dan insisted. “I’ve got some nice ones in stock right now. Come on, let me do something nice for my kid.”

“Okay, fine,” Jason sighed.

“Okay. I hate to eat and run, but...” Dan said, glancing at his watch. “Sorry Jay... I gotta get back to the store. But I’ll drop by later with TV – I think you’ll like it.”

“Sure Dad,” Jason said. “Have fun at work.”

Dan tossed a couple twenties on the table. He hoped he was doing the right thing – Jason needed to calm down. Let loose. Stop trying to shoulder the world.

A guy like Jason needed to focus on having fun. Parties. Dancing. Hitting up the gym. Stop thinking so much and start fucking like a slut. And sure, Sean and Harris would get influenced too, but Greenroad was an accepting place now. Everyone would love them.

Jason was gonna feel like he belonged. He was gonna feel welcomed. He was gonna feel accepted.

Dan reached out and gave Jason’s shoulder a squeeze.

Greenroad was gonna feel like home.
