I started off really happy with the pencils on this piece, then the initial washes went really well... but sometime towards the end I overworked the whole piece and hated it. I ended up loading a whole bunch of water on the painting, scrubbing it with a large brush, and accidentally created this kind of hazy impressionistic effect, which I've kind of fallen in love with and hope I can replicate sometime in the future.
