I call the animal-people I draw The Goma. They are spirits similar to how nymphs and satyrs and fairies are spirits. They all represent ideas to varying degrees, for instance the foxes represent imagination. The Gohma (with an "h" in the spelling) are a more powerful order of goma, and are more closely tied to the ideas they represent than the other spirits.
The Auroch Gohma represent energy, and embody aspects from industriousness to laziness, or to meditation which can be an conservation or exertion of energy. The auroch gohma is also linked to sacrifice and to death, fecundity, and renewal. They and the Lion Gohma (which represents the subconscious) often make a complimentary pair.
