Hey everyone,

Hope you're all doing well. We certainly are - its been a great few weeks for us, so thanks for coming along for the ride. Bit of a different approach with the posting this week, we're combining the monster post and the boss doc post into one.

This week was "steampunk renaissance," a popular poll option. I think we veered away from renaissance and more towards some discovered-inspired stuff, but we think people will like it. :)

"One day, while Osborn and Hewlow were taking a tour of a new mine, Osborn was caught in a freak collapse and just barely rescued; on the brink of death with his body broken from the rubble. Though Osborn was stabilized, it became clear his injuries would give him only a few weeks to live. Hewlow dove into his research and worked tirelessly for several days to construct for Osborn an entirely new body facilitated by the steam mephit augmentations, his magnum opus. Though what remained of Osborn’s original body was now only his head suspended in a magical preserving liquid, he had otherwise been granted a new lease on life. He could walk, talk, and even retain most of his sensory experiences. It was a major breakthrough and an augmentation miracle. Hewlow wanted to license out the steam mephit magitech, believing that if their research was shared, they could better society while still collecting a tidy profit. Osbon disagreed, wanting to keep the breakthrough proprietary to give their company an unprecedented competitive advantage to make the pair of them obscenely rich men. The disagreement would not be resolved peacefully."
