GOT 3X10 Mhysa UNCUT REACTION
Added 2024-02-06 14:42:22 +0000 UTCThat's a wrap on season 3! Now every stark is split up. Is it crazy that I don't get Bran's motivation to go north!? I also love that theon's sister is going to free. him. The Boltons and Walder Frey are my primary enemies right now. Can't wait till Dany gets to Kings Landing though hopefully it happens next season but we'll see.

SU has been weekly and they just dropped the movie the other day! I'd say there's a good chance Future will start next week, unless they take a break first

It's really a damn shame your GoT videos don't pick up traction considering how good your reactions are, maybe on top of it being less often/easier on your editing workload changing up the format will do some junk algorithm wise and turn out good for the channel too?

2024-02-06 17:35:39 +0000 UTCI've been waiting for this episode to say how cool it is that you KNEW Theon was captured by the Boltons from like... the very first scene with him!! People don't generally pay much attention to the house sigils outside of the 8 major houses (a truly cringe fact about me, I can name all 433 known Westerosi houses from memory), so picking up on the flayed man imagery was top notch reaction goodness. The show isn't as clear on this point but it was in fact Ramsay that torched Winterfell and put everybody to the sword, not Theon's ironmen. Bran's motivations are much clearer in the books too - like yes, he thinks North is the only safe direction for him to go with the war and whatnot, but the raven constantly visits him in his dreams and Bran sort of gets this idea in his head that the raven is like a wizard or some kind of fantastical magic, that might fix his legs and give him cool superpowers. He was so into the fantastical stories old Nan used to read him, that he feels like he's fallen into a storybook situation (I was going to say fairy tale but Bran likes the spooky stories). He doesn't really need to go beyond the wall, but he feels like he does, like he has this big destiny to fulfill (I don't remember how old he is in the show but I think he's 8 in the books so you know, he's still got that dummy kid brain). I think because the show doesn't have that inner monologue Bran's storyline is the weakest one in these writers hands. They just kind of threw out info we already knew about the white walkers so the audience would understand why Bran needs to go north, but I don't recall that being explicitly told to Bran previously? I could be misremembering but my book brain knows that Bran just wants to be a special destiny havin kid, and along the way kind of gets this idea that the raven can heal his legs. They aren't wrong about all the walker stuff though, I mean we do know that's a real threat!
