Lol Little Bart is fantastic actor just like everyone else on the show! Oooh so Jamie is a little more straightforward with his feelings for Brienee in the books nice! I was on the fence of whether it was platonic or not up to this episode. Yeah Tywin and Joffrey are such opposite characters in ways. I love how he picks at Joffreys insecurities. I'm also glad to hear he's acting again. That definitely adds some more layers to Shae's situation, i cant wait to learn more about why they made that change. Yeah Alfie does a great job with the role he's given his torturer as well. Thanks for the support over on youtube and yeah i'm happy about streamable too the over screen censors can be annoying. However, trying to avoid using on the GOT YouTube videos is what makes editing them take up so much time.

Yes, the bear is real!! His name is Little Bart, he lives in LA and they filmed him and the stunt actors for Jamie and Brienne separately than the crowd/bear pit set (which was in Northern Ireland), then digitally meshed the scenes together later. Apparently Little Bart only did tricks if you cheered for him, so while he was acting all ferocious his trainer in the background was saying cute things and clapping for him 🥹 There's a really cool dream sequence with Jamie and Brienne in the books that I won't describe here, just something for you to look forward to reading in the future~ I love it because when she asks why he came back for her, he just shrugs and goes "I dreamed of you". Like brooooo, so SMOOTH GOD the raw POWER Charles Dance radiates during that scene with Tywin and Joffrey is INTENSE. Yeah ordinarily climbing the steps like that would be a big faux pas - like there's no law saying you can't, some kings might be cool with it but depending on the king you could totally get arrested for it. Hell, Aerys II likely would have had his kingsguard cut you down before you reached the top step. It just occurred to me that Shae's situation is even more sad when you think about the fact that she's from the free cities (which isn't the case in the books but I'm going to wait until the end of next season to talk about that, because it's one of the most important changes in the show imo and I want to wait until you have all the context to explain). Like, any common born Westerosi understands how it is with Lords and politically arranged marriages, but across the narrow sea it isn't like that. Magisters in the free cities are elected from a select number of noble families. They can still marry for advantage, but it's not as much of a given, and polygamy isn't unheard of either. So to a foreigner she's probably really having a hard time grasping why Tyrion won't refuse the match. It's still not clear if Theon was castrated in the books or not - I'm inclined to believe he was, there's some vague hinting at it but it isn't obvious. I just really hate watching him get tortured, Alfie really sells the agony in these scenes. Jack Gleeson probably did have fans treat him poorly but that isn't the reason he retired from acting - I don't remember what field he was studying but he quit to go back into academia. He just recently got back into acting iirc! I hope if he is truly back that he has all the success, man is seriously talented I'm so glad you started watching stuff via streamable this is so much nicer!! I genuinely hope these start doing better on YouTube as well, I do my best to jump in and engage with them when I can.
