I plan to be more active in the coming months, and the first thing I will do is make more patreon exclusive updates and more public updates as well. I have not been updating things nearly enough in general, and I apologize for that.

To start with, I shall do a poll for the future of Magnificent. The three options are for it to be rewritten, or to become open sourced, and the final option is for me to not do either and just update it as is.

If the rewrite is chosen, it will be a long time before any updates happen for it. If open source is chosen, Magnificent will be cleaned up and slightly improved before it becomes open source. If the third option is chosen, it will get updated more frequently but it will also be less stable and likely continue running poorly.

Open sourcing it will not stop me from updating it, but the updates will be less often. The benefit is that anybody can use it to make changes and edit it.
