(DxD x Tony Stark) Iron & Myth: Chapter 12 - New Student in School

A/N: Sorry I missed the upload eariler this week, decided to post both stories today at once.

Chapter 12 - New Student in School

Summary: A new arrival sparks conflict, choices, and unexpected alliances at Kuoh Academy.

Tony was catching up on a little sleep during math class when someone poked him in his head.

With a groan he raised his head and was faced with two grinning faces of Rias and Akeno.

Tony looked around to see the classroom was practically empty except the three of them—he let out a yawn before commenting casually "I suppose class is over. Shame, it was a good nap."

Akeno covered her mouth and giggled, Rias gave him a playful frown "I know you are probably bored during these lessons, but you can at least try to pretend you are putting some effort while staying at the top of the class. You are pissing Sona off you know."

Tony smirked at the red head "That's what I do, piss people off."

Rias shook her head with a smile "I heard there is a new student in Issei's class today, do you know something about it?"

"It's probably just Asia, my parents signed her up last weekend, so she started today," Tony said with an uncaring shrug. Before his eyes widened "Wait... You said she is in the same class as your perverted Pawn and his duo of pervert friends?!"

Both Rias and Akeno exchanged a worried look, seemingly just now realizing why what they just said might be problematic. Akeno forced a smile on her face and tried to use her airheaded voice "Now, now Stark-kun, there is no need to jump to conclusions so easily."

Rias nodded quickly in agreement "Yes. Issei saw how important she is to you, I am sure he will keep his distance along with his friends."

Tony didn't answer—instead he grabbed his bag and began walking out of class toward the second years' floor. Rias and Akeno quickly following him.

He just came down the stairs into the floor when the voices began reaching his ears. The voice of Hyoudou came first "Come on Asia, Stark is bad news, how about you join the occult club, and we will be able to protect you, then you can be part of my harem with Rias and Akeno."

"Umm, I am sorry Hyoudou-san but I like staying with the Starks, they are like family to me," came Asia's timid voice "I need to speak with them before making any decisions like that."

Someone scoffed "What's so great about a family of foreigners? What do they even know about our culture? You should hang out with us, we will teach you the ways of Japan." The suggestive tone toward the end made Tony reach toward his watch.

Rias quickly grabbed his hand and pulled it away from the watch, shaking her head with a pleading look.

Tony grunted but his gaze snapped back to the scene when a brunette girl with glasses and a scowl stood in front of Asia and said firmly "Will you perverts leave Asia alone? It's obvious she already chose her man, so how about you scram off before Stark-san kicks your asses again."

"I'm not afraid of the bastard Stark!" screamed the pervert with the glasses.

The bald one was quick to join him "Yeah, it was just a fluke. We will show him who's boss next time. And don't pretend like you are not a pervert yourself, Kiryuu."

Tony didn't much care if they insulted him so he just let those comments go unchallenged, though he wouldn't lie—he really couldn't wait for them to try him again. Next time he wouldn't be nearly as gentle as he was last time.

Issei pointed at himself with a puffed chest "I can totally kick his ass now. You know it Asia, so why not just come with me, I'm sure the president..."

Oh, now there was a vein pulsing on his forehead. But before he could step forward Rias did, and with a flat voice she asked, "I will what?"

Issei's body froze and he turned around with a nervous smile "P...Prez, w...what are you doing here?"

Rias raised an eyebrow at him "I was walking with Stark-kun so he could take our newest student home, when he heard your little conversation here."

But something else bothered the rest of the student body, and one of them gulped loudly before asking fearfully "Y...you came here with S...Stark?"

Tony chose that moment to enter the scene, walking down the hallway like he owned the place with a smile on his face as he spoke with an unmistakable edge to his voice "I am a bastard, am I? Me and my family are no good foreigners, are we?"

His voice sent shivers down the entire crowd before another voice intervened "What is the meaning of this disturbance?"

Everyone turned with pale faces to look at the scowling face of Sona Sitri.

Everyone stayed in tense silence until Tony broke it with his usual playful tone "Just a few boys who thought it would be okay to force themselves on the new student, and insult my family while doing it. I was just about to dole out the punishments." He ended while cracking his knuckles.

People began to step away from him, and Sona let out a heavy sigh "Please Stark-san, surely we can find more civil ways to deal with the situation."

Tony considered it for a moment. Kicking all the perverts' asses would probably only be a temporary solution like the previous beating had been. He let out an irritated sigh before offering "I have a suggestion that will make life easier for both of us in the grand scheme of things."

Sona raised an eyebrow at him and asked flatly "And what is that?"

Tony smirked "For the first- and second-year classes divide them by gender. 2-A will be exclusively boys, and 2-B will be exclusively girls."

Sona looked shocked for a moment, as did everyone else, before her analytical mind got to work "It will certainly make life easier for the staff, as well as the council members while keeping the female student body satisfied with the co-ed situation."

"What about us, the guys?!" The bald pervert shouted.

Tony and Sona turned with powerful glares at the boy, rendering him silent.

Sona gave a single nod "Very well, Stark-san, we shall implement your idea by next week."

Tony gave a huge smile and said loudly "Great. So I will leave all the asses here unkicked for now." He turned to the shy blonde behind the brunette and said cheerfully "Let's head home Asia."

Asia nodded and began running after him, waving back to the girl who defended her.

They just stepped out of the building when a familiar voice called out "Stark-kun, Asia-chan!"

They both turned to see Rias running toward them. They stopped and waited for her to catch up to them—Asia was the one to ask "Is there something we can help you with Rias-senpai?"

Rias smiled at both of them "I would like it if you would join me at the occult building for a private chat."

Tony could already guess where this was going—he looked at Asia, the former nun gave him the puppy eyes and Tony was forced to relent "Sure."

Once they were seated across Rias's desk with Akeno serving them tea Rias went straight to business "Asia-chan I would like you to join my peerage. I trust Stark-kun already explained to you what it means."

Asia nodded hesitantly "I... I am grateful you offer it Rias-senpai, but I am uncertain..." She looked at Tony pleading for an answer.

Tony shook his head with a small smile "You need to decide for yourself. You need to base that decision on what you get in return for what you are offering. If you want my advice, it will be simple... You are practically signing your life to Rias, so be sure you get something equally as good."

Rias chuckled "A businessman through and through Stark-kun. My father would love to meet you." She then turned to Asia "What I offer is complicated. First of all, I can offer protection from other supernatural institutions that might be after you, like the church for instance. I can also help you train your sacred gear to be more efficient and powerful. Also there is the fact that as a devil, your base stats will be increased, including endurance which you might find beneficial."

Asia nodded with a thoughtful look—Rias then glanced at Tony for a moment and smirked, she gestured with her fingers for Asia to lean closer to her. Once she could reach her ear, she whispered something that caused Asia's cheeks to burn as she stole a glance at him too.

Once they both sat back in their seats Asia nodded her head and said determinedly "I will do it!"

Rias beamed and began reaching for her chess pieces when Tony raised his hand causing the devil princess to pause and look at him "Is there a way for Asia to sign a contract that will allow her to revoke her membership in your peerage at any time with no consequences?"

Rias looked stunned for a long moment before laughing—even Akeno looked shocked at her king's response to the question.

Eventually the red head wiped a tear from her eye and said cheerfully "You are a shrewd man, Tony Stark. No one ever thought about this option before, but yes it does exist."

"It does?!" the usual playfulness was gone as Akeno asked in shock.

Rias shrugged with a smile "Maou Beelzebub, included such a clause in his original system. It's just no one asked before."

Rias snapped her finger and with a red magical circle a contract appeared before Asia. Tony took it from her gracefully and went over it.

Once he was satisfied about all the details he passed it back to Asia with a nod. Asia smiled widely and signed the paper easily.

Tony shook his head at how easily the girl was trusting other's words. He was still not sure what Rias said to her that convinced her to join, but like he said earlier the choice was Asia's alone. He just made sure she would be able to take a step back if it was a mistake.

Once the contract was signed and sealed, Rias picked up the Bishop piece and put it inside Asia's chest.

Bishop, specialized in magic, which seemed appropriate for Asia, and might help increase the abilities of her Twilight Healing, just like Rias promised.

Akeno immediately hugged the blonde girl close to her and said cheerfully "Welcome to the family Asia-chan."

Asia returned the huge smile and cheerful voice "Thank you, Akeno-senpai."

"Here you go, Stark-kun." Tony turned to see Rias handing him two books.

Tony raised an eyebrow at her "Two? Our deal is for one at a time."

Rias nodded with a small blush "I hope the second book will make you forget Issei's poor behavior earlier."

Tony sighed and said calmly "I will take it for now, but if he tries anything with Asia during your club's activities, I WILL KILL HIM!"

Rias gulped but nodded "I will make sure to keep an eye on him."

Tony took her at her word and accepted the books. Then he smiled and said, "Well looks like our business here is done, and I have a lot to do in my own lab. So how about it Asia, let's head home?"

Asia nodded with a wide smile "Of course, Tony-kun. I promised Maria-san to help her cook dinner while you work."

Akeno giggled "Ara, Ara, Stark-kun all work and no play, you are disappointing me."

Tony smirked at the raven-haired devil and said cheekily "Oh, trust me dear Akeno, I know how to play very well when the time comes." He finished with a wink.

Akeno looked shocked again for a moment before she returned to giggling.

Rias shook her head "Honestly, how you're able to outmatch Akeno every single time is beyond me Stark-kun." She then turned to Asia "Oh, and tomorrow after school we will have a meeting here Asia."

Asia gave a cheerful nod and skipped behind Tony as the two left the club house and began heading home.

At the end of the day Kuoh Academy received a new student to their ranks, and Rias adopted a new bishop. And Tony got two new books to read and prepare himself for what may come next.
