I'm realising that this game is going to be more than I can chew in one mouthful, meaning that basically EACH single one-on-one encounter is probably going to take as many pages/images as in a comic (or half a comic) as I used to make them.
I often end up making a LOT of renders anyway, even just for fun or testing, and then never using them before they don't work well with the story or I consider them too simple or such, but still.. this is gonna take some more work compared to what I initially thought it would.
I took the (generic) idea from a few dating games I have played in the past, and while I don't yet understand how to integrate the whole 'dating engine system' (with friend and relationship points and all that) I am fairly sure I can now code all that myself using the skills I gained by studying coding by myself for (overall) the past 6 months or so.
That said,
this game will continue in production regardless of difficulty cuz it's an idea I really like and the characters are starting to take shape and be moulded into characters you'll love, like "Meredith", the ready-for-the-scrap-metal-process rusty beauty in this first picture (more in the next post).
