Octopus body tests...

So, I've been trying different shaders for the octopus part of her body.

Although I like the effect (actually these are amazing as they also provide '3D poking through' textures) I'm only not happy because -long story short- she's turned from octopus to starfish lol.

I have to say.. I WAS NOT expecting such a great detail from these new shaders I got, and I'm really tempted to use them and give her a starfish body.

I'll make some more testing with more ..huh.. 'viscous' and wet surfaces, cuz I want that "damn, a squid just touched my leg!" feeling, while this one looks more like she's been armored to battle against military tanks (actually, that's what she's been made for.. XD).. so I'm not sure.

Besides, I really like the octopus as an animal, more than the starfish. Still.. damn, that looks kinda awesome, huh?

Also, the second test here may look like a sea urchin or something. Kinda brings back memories of the monsters in Resident Evil Revelations lol..

I'll need to add some waist detail, but this looks kickass to me. One of the best shaders I've tried so far. And she looks even more deadly..
