April 2024 - Voyage of the Shrouded Horizon -1.2

Hello Everyone. Here is this month's update on our 5e Adventure 'Voyage of the Shrouded Horizon'. I made a lot of progress this month. Let me tell you about what is included in this month's release.

Seafaring Supplies

We're spicing things up this month with some optional rules for Weapons, Armor, Seafaring Supplies, and even Peg Legs and Eye Patches. These additions aren't just about adding flavor—they're about immersing you in a world teeming with ships and pirates, making your adventure feel truly unique.

World of Thalos

Our world map is really coming together, but there's still some work to be done before it's complete. I've made significant progress on the details and rendering, but now I need your help in naming the locations. Pay special attention to the small islands in the left center of the map—they're crucial, as they'll resemble our own Caribbean, where the majority of pirate activity unfolds. Let's collaborate to give these places names that truly capture the spirit of our adventurous world!

Item Cards

This month, we're rolling out our brand new Item Cards. These handy cards are designed to make it easier than ever to share important items with your players. We're kicking things off with Mundane Armor types that are perfect for life on the high seas. But here's the best part—I want to hear what you think about the current design. Your feedback will help us fine-tune these cards and make them even better for your gaming experience!

Tokens for VTT

We've been hard at work turning our character portraits into handy tokens for Virtual Tabletops. Just a quick drag and drop, and you've got a crew of colorful characters ready to spice up your gaming sessions. From swashbuckling pirates to mysterious individuals, these tokens are your ticket to immersive adventures on the high seas. So hoist the sails and get ready for an unforgettable journey!

Plans for Next Month

We're setting our sights on Chapter One of the book, where we'll dive into the heart of the adventure—the ship that your player characters will embark upon toward the new world. From detailing the crew and passengers to fleshing out the ship itself, get ready for an immersive journey like no other.

But that's not all! We'll also be continuing our work on the world map, with the goal of having it fully finished by the end of next month.
