Hey everyone! I'm super excited to share our first "work in progress" peek at 'Voyage of the Shrouded Horizon'. Let's dive into what we've been up to, what's on the horizon, and how you can lend a hand.

Magical Gunpowder

Our Discord chat was buzzing, and we all agreed on introducing Thunderpowder to our world - a magical twist on gunpowder. This isn't your average powder; it's activated by magic gemstones, paving the way for our Gemlock pistols. How cool is that?

Unique and Interesting Ships

Thanks to your votes, we're dreaming up ships that echo the golden age of piracy but with our own fantastical spin. I can't wait to sketch out these beauties!

The World of Thalos

You've spoken, and Thalos it is! We've also settled on a shape for our world after playing around with a few ideas. Here's a glimpse at our map's base (still a bit rough, but it's getting there).

Styling the Document

I've been dusting off my graphic design skills to start putting our document together in InDesign. It's early days, but having something that looks neat is super motivating. We're on our way to creating something epic!

Input Request

Now that Thalos is on the map, let's get creative with naming continents, countries, cities, and more. I'm all ears for your suggestions - let's make our next poll a treasure trove of ideas.

Roadmap

I've shared a roadmap on Discord, plotting out when we aim to release parts of the book. They're more like guiding stars than strict deadlines, helping us stay the course.

Looking ahead to next month, we've got some exciting plans! We're aiming to complete the World Map, bringing Thalos fully to life. But that's not all - we're also diving into the details, designing items for the appendix. Think armor fit for a pirate, essential tools like compasses and spyglasses, and, of course, the more explosive stuff like bombs and powder barrels. It's all about adding those touches that make our world feel real and lived-in. Can't wait to share these updates with you!
