A reason to visit Nagoya with Sharla... Piyorin Shop and near Ghibli Park!

Chris, completely understand the desire to have your wedding private. That is a day for you and Sharla to have and celebrate yourselves. No need to make it public. However, maybe consider something that Patreon members can do to congratulate you two. Like a gift registry or a way for us to buy flowers.

I live in WA, too! I don't know why, but it's so nice having a fellow Washingtonian here. I live in the countryside outside Spokane. I would love to live in the forest like you!

Thanks for the stream, Chris. Unfortunately, I have to use satellite internet, since I live out in the middle of a forest in Washington State. The delay gets worse over time and the stream ends 40 minutes before I get to see the end of it. I don't ask questions or make comments after the first 5 minutes because it would be out of context by the time you see it by several minutes. My husband and I started watching you around 9 or 10 years ago when we were in our 40's. I've been a patron since then. Your genuineness and commitment to/ enjoyment of video making has kept us happy all these years. Have a wonderful, private wedding and enjoy your honeymoon in relaxation. Good luck with the studio hunting. When you first set up your studio, it was very exciting! Your enthusiasm for it showed a lot and it seemed to energize you. It was cool for us, too, as patrons to see it. I hope you can recreate that when you set up the studio in Tokyo. Hopefully, it will take away some of the stress of moving away from the countryside and ameliorate some of the homesickness. Maybe you could incorporate some of what you loved about Sendai into the 2nd studio. I know you can't fit a mountain, fields and fresh air into a studio but maybe pictures, background scenery or matte painting, the nature sounds from the relaxation viedo you made, etc. would create a calmer ambiance? I know you don't do live plants but maybe some high quality plastic ones would help, especially ones that were common in Sendai?

I will be asleep but I want to ask I will be going to Japan soon for the first time and will have 5 days in Tokyo and was wondering the best places to visit in that time, have some days planned so far but not all.

It'll be early enough to join! My kid will wake me up way before then. 😆
